"Hold on guys, we're at the bottom of the hour ... let's take a break for a word from our sponsons ..."

" .... which we don't have, so here's some weird flute music."
That was funny.

How about the ten billion TV shows that had the same subject.

Agreed. This isn't interesting or new. He's been dead for over 50 years and it's time to move on.

For a different angle, some show should have a psychic medium as a guest who channels JFK's ghost to hear his side of the story. Maybe Oswald's ghost too.

That'd be far more interesting.

My dad was a prosecutor, then ran his own law firm, then sat on the bench for several years.

If this guy was in his courtroom, or hell, at his dinner table, trying to sell this ... he'd have been verbally destroyed.

What a nut.

I see c2c has their annual JFK special show too, coming up this weekend:

JFK Special XIII
Date:    Sunday - November 22, 2015
Host:    Dave Schrader
Guests:    Philip Shenon, Kris Millegan, Jim Botelho

Joining host Dave Schrader (email) in the first half of our 13th annual JFK Assassination Special, veteran investigative reporter, Philip Shenon, speaks to the questions that have haunted our nation for half a century: Was the President killed by a single gunman? Was Lee Harvey Oswald part of a conspiracy? Did the Warren Commission discover the whole truth of what happened on November 22, 1963? Then, fresh from the JFK Assassination Conference, author and publisher Kris Millegan, and Jim Botelho, the former Marine roommate of Lee Harvey Oswald will explore who was behind the assassination.

Thought that one of these dudes was gonna say that one of the secret service agents behind Kennedy's car shot him.  That theory was floated a year or two ago.  Seems the agent noticed the bullets flying and drew his weapon.  In his zeal, he accidentally discharged his weapon right into the back of Kennedy's head.  Just another theory to add to all the others.

I just turned it off as well.

Probably the right call. This guy is one of the goofiest of the goofy JFK conspiracy nuts I've heard.

The guest referred to his "e-book" not a regular book?

e-books are probably the future honestly. I love my Kindle and have no desire to ever read a traditional book again.

Probably.  I have to have a newspaper in my hand though.

Just how I picture Mr. Rogers. Are you wearing a v-neck sweater and smoking a pipe?

Can you imagine finding that bone fragment and pocketing it?  Would have made for one hell of a paper weight.  "Oh, this?  Why that's a chunk of bone that flew out of Kennedy's head after he got shot.  Everybody was running around like chickens with their heads cut off...so I kind a helped myself to it."

Wow, someone brought their soapbox.

LOL.  I just had to say my piece.  My parents voted for the Kennedys but later kind of regretted it when they found out what a louse he was.  I faintly remember Bobby Kennedy's funeral but I was only 2 years old.  I was sad when I watched it on TV.  The only real exposure I had to a living Kennedy was brother Teddy and I couldn't stand him.

I've since read a lot about John Kennedy.  Some of it flattered him but there are many books that have a negative slant on Kennedy due to his philandering and other indiscretions. I've also read alot about Papa Joe.  He liked to use women too. He had a long-standing relationship with Gloria Swanson while he was married and siring kids with wife Rose.  Plus he was a bootlegger and thats where he made a lot of his money.  What a class act, eh?  The worship of JFK is a pet peeve of mine.  This is the first time I've really let loose on the subject.

I understand that the death of JFK is a tragedy and I'm sorry that he was blown away like that.  Maybe the whole story has yet to be told but I must confess I have heard enough about the subject, for the time being. I guess I shouldn't have turned the show on.  Oh well.

I never liked how newspapers felt. The texture just always felt icky to me.

I recently discovered I can borrow e-books from my library!
