Oh, that's right -- first time it just rang and rang then I got a message saying to try again later. I just hit redial, it rang and rang, then I BARELY heard RCH say "you're on the air" -- took me by surprise. But just those two attempts.

This reminds me of the time I was watching a religious telethon, I think it was when they were trying to save the PTL Club...my brother and I fell over laughing when it was clear they were getting so many prank calls that they mentioned it on the air.

Well, he's an insane nitwit, but I gotta' give it to him for continuing on back to the phones once it became clear that he was under attack. Though from what I've heard of his ability to be entertaining solo, he really didn't have a practical choice.

Glad I caught the show. I won't be listening to him anymore, unless its open lines. I'm sure his open line shows will be done and over with though. That was brutal.

It was wonderful. I think you're correct about open lines. For however long RCH has left (hopefully he's fired sooner rather than later - we'll see) I doubt we'll ever have another open lines show, at least not without phone screening.
