I cancelled my sub to OSOM. I found myself listening to it less and less over the last few weeks and with all of this producer business I've actually lost what interest I had. If ever I'm awake I'll try and catch the show but I also realized that I didn't want to pay to fill my hard drive with shows I'd almost certainly never get around to.

I just checked my Paypal and Hoagie got me for another month. Payment went in today. So he's got another 29 days to get his shit together. Well actually he's got a week cause if this week is like the last I'm done and I'm not just saying that to be one of the cool kids. I don't mind Hoagland being Hoagland but when there are serious problems and you continue plow forward w/o addressing them and in his case making it worse (why the fuck is his producer getting air time?) I can't continue to support that.

Yes, I evaluate each of my new postings for the correct balance of snark and comedy, of sass and charm, of entertainment and insight, of offensiveness and playfulness, and of value and tone to the intended audience.  If I post and, upon review, find the impact of my words did not meet the high standards of Bellgab I will remove it.  Usually I come to that realization immediately, but sometimes it involves the reflection of a hot shower or good mow of the lawn.  Most posts are of sufficiently acceptable quality that they remain, but should I find one that adds little in the way of comedic impact, simply becoming a waste of reading effort, or possesses an exquisite subtlety such that it may be missed and misinterpreted as offensive, it will be gone.

Yes, my standards are such that on the order of 0.5 percent of my posts are outliers in this regard and are gracefully sheared eternally from view.  But I do not expect compensation for my lost minutes composing these unsightly gags.  The reward is in the joy I imagine on the faces of my fellow Gablings when they unwrap a well crafted post with their eyes and amygdalea, and reap all its tantalizing sensations.

So I have decided to take this moment out of my day to extend a hearty "well done" to SV and BB for their public service announcement.  Thank you guys
