Hoagie has a fan in Congress.

Responding to Farley's testimony that Mars appears to have once possessed a vast amount of water in its distant past, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher of California posed the rather intriguing question.

"You've indicated that Mars was totally different thousands of years ago," the politician mused, "is it possible that there was a civilization on Mars thousands of years ago?"

Appearing somewhat amused by the question, Farley responded that he was unaware of any evidence for such a scenario.

Lest one think that Rohrabacher inquiry was in jest, rest assured that the representative was quite serious and pressed the issue a bit further by asking, "would you rule that out?"

Farley's answer was, unfortunately, rather definitive as he replied, "I would say that is extremely unlikely."

How fucking embarrassing, a Congressman not being able to make a distinction between BILLIONS and thousands of years.  Who even cares if Mars had or has microbial life. It does nothing for us. Our solar system is a ghost town.

Too bad about the dog Morella. Recall some decades ago Art claimed that Art and his audience "saved RCH's life" after he had a heart-attack by some "consciousness intentional thought experiment." Why didn't Art, or RCH, lead his audience to do same for the dog? Maybe using the extra-power of the "Miami Circle" medallions they peddled? And does Art have any regrets saving RCH now after years have passed and see what RCH helped do to Art's network, C2C, etc?

We were enjoined several times to think on the dog but also on Steve Scalise and a few other subjects.  Objections to this scattershot approach were raised but Hoagie thought it best.  Perhaps he'll reconsider.

Yep, the claim is the "focus" of the "mass intention," like when RCH listeners intentioners saved Jimmy Carter, works. Though maybe "the model" has changed? But the shotgun approach doesn't seem to work for canines. Did she at least get smuggled back to New Mexico so could die at home? I know often that is important for people who would rather be at home than in some hospital or in some foreign land.
