I only listened to the last half of the show tonight.  I have no idea what he said about you.

He is provoking me. He thinks I will offer him much more for BellGab than it's worth.

O you lads just conspiring against me because of what MV said about me on his GabCast, but that's OK..I'm acting very rustic tonight and drinking G.Clooney's tequila straight from the bottle (screw the glass).
I might agree tonight's guest might be fake (might)? ..but Lisa's voice is soothing me, ..Hoagie and his tranny from Japan Michaealla can go and Honda themselves

Didn't listen to the GabCast.  Enjoy Lisa if that's what you like.  I don't judge.  I don't listen because I'd probably make a noose out of piano wire, affix it to the second floor window frame, tighten it around my neck, super glue the palms of of each hand to the sides of my head, then jump.  Visualize...

Property taxes are bullshit.  You buy the property and you should only make a tax payment at the time of sale.

what's the alternative? property taxes pay for many essential services including fire/police/ambulance/road maintenance etc

Then you need to figure out what will fund the upkeep of infrastructure around your house and education in most cases.

Agreed.  The property taxes here are ridiculous.   >:(

Yeah, It is bad up North.  My parents had a huge property tax bill living in New Jersey.  I see no reason to move back up North until those states get their shit together.  I like the climate better up North.  Give me the winter snow and the somewhat drier summers instead of the 100% humidity we routinely have in the South during the summer.

Sales taxes and income taxes.  No one should be charged for living on property that they own.  You pay the piper when you buy the property not afterwards.

I'm in Virginia.  Between north and south but technically south via the Civil War.   ;)

Sales taxes.  Vote on them in your community.  Most people will pay a few cents on every dollar for local projects.  You have to hold the  local government accountable.  Property taxes don't hold them accountable.

he couldn't have found two less interesting guests if he tried.

It wouldn't work. That would be like running essential services funding on a voluntary basis.

Multi tasking is good.

Oh yeah!  The more you drink from the bottle pay attention to how far you put it in your mouth after each swig as time goes by.  Sometimes we are subconsciously curious and the bottle finds it's way deeper.  I've been there.

=Schlyder=

Georgia here sounds like she came from the same mold as our Prime Minister Zoolander. LOL
A whole lot of tardspeak, and tardsplaining.

I'm originally from Pittsburgh.  Virginia is my home but I'll eventually go back permanently.  Hopefully.

People have to buy goods to survive.  It is not voluntary.  Property taxes are morally reprehensible.

How so?  ???

You should only pay taxes when you buy goods and services not for merely owning property.  It is your land and if you are old or poor and don't have the money to pay constantly rising property taxes, the government could take your land away from you.  Land you've already paid for. That is wrong and I want no part of it and I will never support such a system.

So, as a property owner you'd be willing to clean and maintain the sewer system surrounding your house, pave your own roads, run your own local hospital? Come on! Are you self-sufficient or not? Can't you do it all yourself?!  :D

The devious thing about them is we have politicians that proudly "We didn't raise property taxes," (meaning the percentage) and what they don't say is we just overvalued your property on paper so we can collect more than last year.
