It pisses me off that RCH and others claim that the astronauts aren't being honest. Seriously. Remember when Buzz Aldrin decked that asshat? Yeah, I'm that fucking pissed . . . .

Well, I had to start somewhere.

I think I was doing better with the holographic universe, but I'm still a little rusty when it cones to explaining Ellis' informational drive engine.

Oh that was you? Hey at least you injected the point into the discussion.

I think Richard would enjoy hearing John Lear's stories of his appearance on the 1960s Batman TV series and later interactions with Adam West...

You are pissed!  I remember Buzz.  Deep breaths...remember Hoagie's schtick.  ;)  Grain of salt on some things.  ;)

There's a guest suggestion right there. Adam West.

I'm feeling the same way tonight so maybe it's in the air.  Growing tired of Hoagie's nonsense.  Probably the politics talk he insists on doing every night.

I hope he gets back to the Mars bullshit soon enough.  If his show is just going to be sci-fi and politics then I'm probably cancelling my subscription to the OSOM archive. :-\

Advanced civilizations will be unlikely to be corporeal at all, and much less likely to crash a spacecraft, and won't need to be rescued if they did.

Michael Heiser?  He's...something.  Arguably apostate to be honest but I suppose we all have our own views on the faith.

STASIS was the half point word of the night?

I tried to sneak in aliens using tesseracts to preserve themselves, but i got hit by the bottom of the hour.

The call did give credence to RCH not being too hip to modern SF and speculative science theory.

Is this the same fella from Edinburgh that calls Art drunk?

We already are a Type 0 civilization. Type 1 is what he means.

I feel ya man.  I'm sensitive to the politics and the glass domes, Mars face, etc.  It touches a nerve and magnifies your mood.  I was irritated for two days when his Nasa buddy was on and they hijacked the topic and made it about there bullshit.  Anyone who subscribed should've expected this.  HOWEVER, we all agree Hoagie is better than we thought.  Maybe the politics put people over the edge.   Sorry if I rambled too long.  Cheers man!

The only place I've heard of type [x] civilizations is from Michio Kaku and in the Coast to Coast AM / Art Bell universe.  Is it a legitimate classification?
