Hoagland misstated the law.  It only had to do with gay wedding ceremonies.  If the bakers refused to bake a cake for other reasons then that would be justification for prosecution under the law.

Both of the adaptations were pretty good.  King appears in Pet Semetary as a priest at a funeral.  The books are better though.  Do you still like King?

I stopped reading  him after he quit the Dark Tower series after book 3. I didn't even know he finished the series later. Haven't read anything since Book 3 was written. Need to go back and read that whole series.

Found an easter egg in the movie "Children of the corn". Did you see that?

This is the difference between discrimination and discretion.  Just because a business is not comfortable with a certain product/service, this does not mean they're discrimating against you on purely race, gender, religious, political grounds etc.  e.g. a gay bakery in S.F. shouldn't be forced to make me a Nazi cake, but they should be forced to make me a Happy B-day cake even if I'm a Nazi.

I only went to the movie to see how they turned a short story into a full length movie.

At the beginning the couple is driving the car down a road between two corn fields. The camera is aimed back into the windshield. On the dashboard in front of the woman on the passengers side is a copy of the paperback "Night Shift". That was the collection of short stories that contained Children of the Corn.
