What happened to the studio in Hawaii?

George used to regularly mention that the network was building him a studio in Hawaii.  Haven't heard anything about that in a long time.  I guess this went the way of the Blackberry app for CtoC that was promised and promised and never delivered.

Nick el Ass

Nothing he says can be believed. Art will have his own studio complete before Dave could even dream of one in Hawaii.

Bleefy

Do you think that the Hawaii studio could be a portal?

Eh, Casey the Dog is wondering why he hasn't been fed in a few years.

He also promised he was going to set up a "charitable foundation" to help out C2C listeners who were elderly, down-on-their-luck, unemployed, ill, had medical bills, etc. No talk about that in quite a long time.

Awhile back someone reported that Tommy's fiancé is there with Casey the Dog and Maritza, the poor third world child he was supporting on 12c a day.  They're running George's various charities.

And what about his great campaign to protect The Grid?  Talk about a load of Bravo Sierra.  Fresh each night, courtesy of PremRat.

I thought they were still building the escalator.

I always pictured the studio resembling Vincent Price's cave in the Brady Bunch. Noory has been the unlucky Tiki of C2C.

re: the Hawaiian Studio.
They are working on the "signage" do doubt. Things like "exit", "push", "pull", are apparently very necessary for Norry. The "signage" issue held up the LA studio remodel for quite some time.

It took nearly three weeks to affix the "enter" sign to Tommy's backside...

much to Jorch's chagrin... "Tommy! They're turning blue Tommy!"

If I remember correctly, Dave's 'charitable foundation' was dependent upon the number of subscribers to his Byond Bleef Internet TV gig.  Claimed if he reached this 'magically secretive' number of subscribers, he'd start a fund to give back to his audience.  Since then, haven't heard another peep.  Think this speaks volumes.

You could have prevented this, etc, etc,

I consulted my "Jorch's Mush-Mouth - English Dictionary" and it turns out he never said, "studio in Hawaii." My best interpretation is something about a gerbil, sumo and Tommy's xxx-wide heiny.

Yes, that brings up some recollection of him mentioning his "tv show" with regard to his "giving back charity" now that you brought it up. No firm numbers given and no subsequent mention in months, however. And surely we have reached that goal. There are even people that have "viewing parties" by putting the "tv show, that is internet based" up on their "flat screens."

It's cool how, if they just stop talking about it, the problem goes away.

George announced yesterday he had just sent off an email to get the webcam installed in the new L.A. studio, especially for Coast Insiders.  That's great because it was only last summer that he began to announce they were working on it.  I mean, give these guys a break.  How are they supposed to work on the Hawaiian studio when they have piled all their resources into installing the L.A. webcam?

Hell, I'm starting to think George is the smart one in the operation.

How about his escalator up Mauna Kea?  Did they get that part done yet?

The new LA studio doesn't exist. Tommie just drives Dave to work in a different direction.

Noory misunderstood everything as usual, - the network said they were making a "Hawaiian Studio", not a studio "in" Hawaii.  This meant they put up some Hawaiian-style wallpaper, leis, and gaudy nick-knacks in the LA studio to make him feel like he was in Hawaii.

Well I guess a can o' nuts on his desk is a cheaper option.

What really happened is Tommee told Dave he would give him a lay every night, and naturally Dave got the whole story mixed  up.

Oh man, good stuff, but unfortunately I've got macadamia taste on an acorn budget.
