The results of a background investigation are turned over to the head of agency or his designee who grants or denies a clearance at his discretion. With Huma being the Secretary's closest aide, how could she not be granted a T.S. clearance.  Unless she had previously been convicted of some heinous crime like espionage against the U.S., there would be no one in any outside agency that would gainsay the decision.

Good article. So corrupt but I guess as they say in the hood, don't hate the player but hate the game. Despite some of my misgivings about Trump (I still have some lingering concerns about him being a Clintonista plot and he is too soft on some of 'my issues' like immigration legal and illegal) I would love to see him simply cut a check live on air to one of their Foundations and handing it to her say 'now can I be elected?' during the debate (if it happens.)

Thanks, I recall some story about that. I just wonder how deep it goes (certain companies get seed money from 'sources' and never seem to be making money, in the normal sense, but get popular and then,maybe,  make money or disappear and new ones start up.) And if any of the 'leaks' have show direct pay-to-twitter etc.

We find that 31% of them also support building a wall along the Atlantic Ocean to keep Muslims from entering the country from the Middle East. 52% are opposed to that idea.
