Knapp is outstanding when he's doing a true crime/Mafia show, but his paranormal/UFO/crypto shows are a joke because he won't challenge his "expert" guests.

I really thought Church did a great job, and so did his guest.  I would get his book, but it's not even on Amazon yet and the one that is, a biography of his law work, seems a bit simplistic in the writing.  I knew nothing about that Brown-Harriman firm and the Bush family connection with it. 

Yeah, the guy is maybe a bit biased toward the left, but it seems as though a person can reason out the motivations of the evil capitalists on the other side.  I really thought this show was fun - I know that because I force myself to stay awake.  I got to bed after 5 am.

I tuned in after the first hour and ended up listening until the end. I thought it was a good show/guest/topic. Mr. Sheehan tended to repeat or wander from time to time, but Jimmy did a fairly good job of bringing him back. I've heard some of the names/families mentioned before and will look for the book when it's published. I'm certainly not left leaning, but I think some of this history goes beyond the left- right paradigm. I'm glad it was someone other than Dave doing the interview.

I have to retract my original comment expressing some discontent with Church hosting a serious guest on US/Muslim history.  He did an OK job of letting the guest present his material without getting in the way.  Noory would have stepping all over SHeehan with tales of growing up with Arab Christian parents. Though I thought the show heading should have been "The Bush Family and Facism".  His discussion of modern Islamist movements came pretty late in the show. Most of what I heard has been covered by Russ baker in "Family of Secrets".  I was a little peeved by Sheahan's habit of repeating the same statements three different ways too.  Maybe he was stretching a usual 1-hr book tour radio bit into 2+.

I'd be interested to hear those lectures and will look them up. I hope his book is not 'only' the Kennedy Assassination. Although important and tragic I don't have the messiah-view of the Kennedies who were going to solve all the problems and were angels etc. Certainly we shouldn't have our Presidents or politicians assassinated! But I think the financial stuff and longer-term stuff is more important to understand the various wars, economic, and other situations that occurred over time. I do think, though, that he glosses over Muslim, Communist, National-Socialist, African, Socialists, ethnic, tribal issues/crimes/war-crimes in his seeming over-all claim and grand theory that white (read WASP and JEW and PAPIST) people caused all the world's problems. Funny, how close the far-left theories get to the far-right theories, actually. Good interview though.

He made an assertion about the U.S. taking the Japanese Treasury which he claims was hidden in the Philippines. A claim I've never heard mention anywhere. It sort of reminds me of a similar story my Grandparents told me how the Soviets stoled the Spanish Treasury during the Spanish Civil War. Another claim that cannot be substantiated.

I did find Russ Baker's book "Family Of Secrets" to be a very well researched work.  Perhaps I should give Mr. Sheehan the benefit and read his material.
