The only notable thing about the show was that it featured a lot of Bara and Church, but no Noory.  History has gone to "reality" entertainment; some pretty coarse.  I was really disappointed in how they ruined "Vikings"; which began as a decent historic drama, by turning it into a soap opera for gamers, with the bar-none worst fake accents ever heard outside a comedy.

History Channel, Nat Geo, Discovery, etc have all seemed to gone off the deep end. What is shocking, and sad but indicative, is that things like history, science, and nature is deemed "too boring" by our society, apparently. When, in reality, it beats fiction or 'woo-woo' in its complexity, narrative, and even shock-value. Your example is good. How can something like "Vikings" be screwed up? I worry, even the 'games' children (and adults) play now are nothing but pushing pop-up buttons (with two-fingers) and the machines we use are (often) 'too complex' or, worse, made for obsolescence, or so cheap, that buying another is easier than fixing (learning how-to and how it works) it. We are, maybe, becoming 'dumber' by technology, maybe? Which in itself is, sorta, funny.
ps: to remain on subject. Jimmy Church sucks and his bumper music is the worst of all. I like metal; I like rock but when the twain met was the worst of both.

I have only listened to one of his shows, he has a very mesmerizing voice, easy on the ears but the show was about how the elites are working on a virus of some sort to get rid of everyone and just have machines or a few select worker humans doing what they need to. There is a thread here dedicated to him but I don't think you will get any useful ideas for which shows to listen to. The posts seem anti-jbw's for the most part.

In my opinion that's because he's too much like Alex Jones: VERY far-right-wing, VERY conspiratorial, to the point where it is honestly difficult to listen to.  His several-minute-long rant about how he couldn't even say President Obama's name is just one example.

Yeah, I remember in that show I listened to he was talking about how all the mainstream news media are useless except for Fox News. Luckily that happened towards the beginning of the show so I realized where he was at. You can be extreme in whatever wing you are and I don't mind listening to your point of view but hearing him say that Fox News is a legitimate news source voided any credibility.

Not to mention that the elites are planning to kill us all.

My roommate believes those conspiracies you mentioned. He is a really nice guy too, has a heart. Maybe I can talk to you about certain things he brings up about those that I can't reply to because I don't know physics like you do.

And another thing, Church has a mastery of language that is Noorific in proportions. His use of the word humble is one. Also he pronounced meme as me-me.

I've mentioned it before, but when JC was interviewing Stuart (astroguy) he kept saying "SWAY-doh astronomy" instead of "SUE-doh." He's gotta stop trying to be flashy, slow down, and pronounce stuff all proper like. 

I also think his use of "humble" makes for the occasional irony.
