Yes and no.  In a past life, I have run it all.  Cat rules the large heavy haul (797) market.  Nothing else can touch them (others make it- but it is crap in comparison... Electric drives?  Pffft.)  The dozers are great (D11)- but the Komatu's are damn close (485 almost kept up and was more comfortable- and they have come out with a larger model now... Though I did like the "R" series for controls).  They easily make the best grader (24H is a beast and the smaller ones at least compete with Deere...)

Middle of the road would be their loaders.  Depending on size and other factors they can compete, or not.

Now, what do they REALLY not make well?  Excavators and smaller heavy haul trucks, compactors...

I'm sure there is other equipment (agriculture- but I know nothing about it) and that is it off the top of my head...

If it is not a cat, it is probably less expensive.

Now for the hater again.  What schedule could George stick to as a "professional" broadcaster? He will not be 5 nights a week for 3 hour shows (he has already told us all how much pain he can be in and that he cannot hold any type of job.)

How about an hour a day?  Would it all need to be prerecorded in case he is screaming in pain?  (If so, what happens to the show when there are no callers?)  Would he do it for a year unpaid to get an audience and exposure... Would he do it for $500 a month to supplement his income?  Would he demand the salary of Noory with the audience of... Well, of MV or Hoagland?

There are too many unanswered questions to suggest that he just "appear" on Keiths network.  If he were to actually try to pursue it seriously, he would be smart to ask a "hater" than to rely on his "friends"...  Of course, Little Chris falls into either category, depending on the day...

I'll take your criticism on anything you like DPS...not really fair to call me a ass-licker though.  As I have said, I don't know Falkie as well as a lot of you guys but I do think he has some talent.  Did you listen to the show? What did you think?  I just believe in throwing a brother or sister a helping hand if I can.  Yeah, Falk has some obstacles to overcome..maybe fair to say a lot of them are self-imposed.  I just don't see where it is helpful to continually drag a guy down.  Some people are just that way I guess.  Have yourself a pleasant night.

I would have had to turn off my audio and ruin my recordings to call in George, and I didn't want to risk it.   Fortunately, MV has the recording posted on UFO ship, and all went well, but I almost always make my own recording "just in case".  That is why people don't hear me calling into shows.
