You're wrong, starting with the notion that people who criticize Falkie "hate" him.  It's been explained already, and as a regular participant here I have to believe you've read it.  You probably dismissed it as bullshit at the time, and may not even remember it, but bullshit or not it's the answer to your question.  I'd repeat it, but I think you like to pose that question to make a point that his critics must be obsessed and therefore wrong, rather than sincerely not knowing.

Listened to the first podcast earlier and thought the man who called in and was on until the end was quite interesting as well as polite.  But you were very rude to him, Falkie, even swearing at him at one point.  You wouldn't let him talk and even told him you knew more about the topic than he.  One can only wonder since he wasn't allowed to say much as you took over his call and talked at length. But one thing, you won't have many callers if you keep telling them you know much more than they.  That was one of the reasons Art excelled he never belittled any guest or caller nor did he try to give the impression that he knew more than they did about any subject.  He was too professional.  He always gave his guests and callers time to say what they had to say and let the listeners draw their own conclusions.  While he listened.  It was one of the reasons most of us loved and appreciated Art's interviewing skills.

First of all, its very difficult to talk when someone else keeps talking over you and he kept doing it and I finally got fed up. And despite what you or he might think, I do know a great deal about the technology of the time and am certain we, the Russians or the Germans were NOT using either UFO technology in aircraft nor had the metallurgical or other capability to build them on our own.
Just look at the FAILED programs that we had in the 1950s that spent millions trying to " duplicate " vertical takeoffs like the Avro car, the flying flapjack of the Navy and other failed aircraft. While we had operational jets as early as 1948 such as the Douglas F3D Skynight, it did not go into production until 1950. I could cite more examples but I just got back from the Apple Store where I found out that the people who train one to use the software on the computer are only there in the early daytime which is idiotic. I guess if ohe works 9-5 or 11-7 you're just out of luck. I only got half of what I needed to do and the guy who was working the Genius bar started to install Mavericks on my Mac without asking me and knew absolutely NOTHING about Imovie or Garage Band.

As for my losing my temper or stepping on what he was trying to say, I felt I gave him more than enough time to keep saying what he kept repeating over and over and he refused to listen to what * I * was saying. Furthermore Art has been doing radio most of his life and taking calls for years. I've taken exactly two calls. I will admit I don't suffer fools gladly. If you think this was bad you should have heard the battles I had in emails and over the phone with Douglas Dietrich over his ridiculous contention that the Japanese had atomic bombs on giant submarines and that's why we negotiated a peace that did not become official until 1950. He & I argued this point for about a month until I gave up because when I cited FACTS about which giant subs the Japanese had 5, but two of those were 90 and 95% completed at the end of the war and of the 3 remaining ships, they were not commissioned until 12/44, Jan 45 and July 45 & all were surrendered to US Naval forces at the end of the war and scuttled by US forces in 1947. 17 in the class were planned but they were cancelled under the orders of Admiral Yammamoto.

Whatever. I think you like deflect and I can see there is no point in having a normal discussion with you. I never said your opinions were wrong I just genuinely, believe it or not, wanted to know where the viciousness comes from. I know why you hate/dislike/criticize but I just want to know why you need to continue to beat a dead horse. Is it because he won't be defeated and just keeps going and going? I don't think all these people hate Falkie.  (I know Falkie disagrees.)  I think they've just been poking fun at him.  At times a little too much, getting  too personal.  I think they really crossed the line when they took it out of this thread.   I'm all for nonsense, believe me, but I think it should be categorized so you aren't wasting other people's time.   As for Bateman and The General, although I enjoy you guys, I don't understand why you keep coming back to these threads if they get to you so much.   And loved the haiku..  LOL!

That's my point. I have no problem poking fun at people. God knows I do it to MV, Bateman, eddie_dean and aldous regularly. As you are all aware I am the butt of people's jokes around here as I single handedly brought down Art's empire. Falkie was poking fun at me for months on end about this on his YouTube videos. I too am not adverse to poking fun at Falkie's expense. Take a look at the first few pages or so of this thread.

I just think the poking fun has taken a mean turn and is more than just criticism at this point. The hatred seems to be coming from 3 individuals. The parodies were hilarious and spot on to begin with. Now they are just mean and the videos that make Falkie pleasure himself are just down right cruel (although the Noory one and the drums were great and in the spirit of poking fun).

I can't make anyone stop and I'm not trying to do that. Continue if that makes you happy. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way and others are too scared of being ridiculed by the bullies to take a stand. Anyway, I'm not trying to make enemies. I think Bart Ell is very intelligent, funny and yes Bart Ell I admit it, sexy. I think DPS is also very intelligent and makes a contribution to the site. I see: So it is all about you? That's basically the crux of the misgivings about your suitability as a credible broadcaster. And as long as you misconstrue it as 'hatred' and ignore well meaning advice, you'll carry on trying to drive without any wheels on. Not that you'll read this of course, because I'm on the 'haters' list.

I'm nearly at the end of the podcast and I've drawn the following conclusions:

1) Senda is an arrogant twat.

2) He covers up his lack of knowledge with 'Ill need to check my files' bollox.

3) Whatever anyone believes regarding aliens, Senda is the 'go to' authority, and you disagree with him at your peril

4) He thinks he's an authority on aircraft development;George, no you're not.

5) YOU don't know what you're talking about; You're a bad tempered fucking wanker, and couldn't broadcast in an intellectual way if your life depended on it.

6) Your fan base will be withdrawing their support if you carry on treating callers as an inconvenience who interrupt your ego. Get over yourself.

I've never heard his voice either. I just know that at one time Falkie and TI were considering doing a Podcast together.

Both calls were my tech advisor because we were having problems recording calls. This was done by way of an experiment. I now have software in Mavericks that will allow me to take calls and record the calls in Skype both ways effective Friday. My tech advisor is NOT Tertiary Imam.  I went through 9 different programs for the Mac that were supposed to load and install into Mavericks. 3 of them could not be recognized and two would not work at all.

I already have someone on my iTunes page who says they love the podcast and Apple won't let me delete the first episode  from iTunes unless I delete the entire podcast and start over. I am going to delete it from YouTube since it elicited such controversy.

Look, I'm trying to do stuff that people can enjoy and get them for a few minutes or perhaps an hour to forget that the economy still sucks, that we have a near dictator in the White House, that there's a drought here ( with rain finally on Thursday ) and have fun.
I was surprised to see that 9 people hated my video with Art Bell quitting yet its gotten 2000+ hits.
I am mostly having fun. But I don't want my podcast ruined by someone calling in and telling lies about me or derailing it because they can. I'm not going to put up with that.
MV wouldn't put up with it. Neither would anyone else doing a podcast. But attacking me is open season and that's not right.
Its costing me money, time and effort to do this. Maybe its not a lot to anyone else but I consider it worth the expense and it upsets me that people hate just because they can.
I want to do the best job I can without worrying about what a small minority of people are going to do all the time.

Broadcasting  content isn't about the presenter. The presenter is there to give a voice to something or someone else, be it a cd, politician, musician, paranormal expert or in this case anyone who calls in. It isn't about you putting them down because they happen to have a different opinion, or ask you questions you can't answer after you've already told them their wrong. If you're going to sit there being the self appointed expert on aircraft technology from 1940 to date, you'd sure better have something to back that pony. I personally know at least half a dozen authorities on same who would more than give you a run for your money in that particular field.

Whether you (or anyone) believe the Nazis, the Americans, the Brits or aliens had or didn't have incredibly sophisticated and improbable aircraft doesn't give you carte blanch to shout them down on the strength 'I read up about it in the last forty years'. Bullshit! You read (and I know this is the hard part) what has been published. I know stuff about aircraft no-one will ever see published in the public sphere. Some of it has never been seen flying, some of it has. How do I know? Well, because I have acquaintances in the British aircraft industry; No they haven't told me stuff that is super secret, but they've dropped enough information that makes me suspect that 99% of UFO sightings are 'ours'.

However you haven't the humility to think you don't know things because you haven't read it in a book. Using your logic, in 1965 you'd have said the A12/ SR71 programme never took place, because you'd not read about it. The first time the public knew about the F117 was when Flight International splashed it, after it had been flying ten years!

A couple of weeks ago there was a Bellgab podcast where you called in.  You interrupted and ran over other talkers and went on and on and on, but no one yelled or swore at you even though it was clear that the hosts and listeners were getting "fed up" with you.
