To the person who runs freeartbell.com - I know that you obviously read this thread to get updates for your blog. Could you please remove my username from your postings. I do not consider myself to be any sort of a leader in any campaign and nor would anyone else here so please don't make me out to be one. Thank you.

But YOU are a leader.
First skype user to DM.
First Aussie to call Art on his new show.
YOU made radio history.
Think about that, my friend.

;D

Still not any leader of any campaign to freeartbell.

Is it just me or is there something fishy about the freeartbell.com webpage and it's owner? Are you a poster here? Show yourself. :)

Perhaps I am just too cynical and jaded.

Didn't somebody here say they bought that domain? Can't remember. Frick, I don't want to comb through 500 pages.

Silly people registering a domain to "report" on #freeartbell anyhow.
How much does it cost to register a domain?

depends on whether or not you create it or buy it.
about $ 9 or 10 on go daddy.
which reminds me I should find a webmaster to create mine.
what's weird is with all the mac owners out there most sites are still being created by windows designers.
i once put an ad up to get a mac oriented designer. i got 800+ replies and only 3 mac users and prices ranged from $400 to as high as $10,000 to build a website.

I was gonna say, I could afford $10. But, I couldn't make a website that good.

I still haven't found that post. It's somewhere between 400 and whatever number this page is. If I emailed <FREEARTBELL.COM@domainsbyproxy.com> that would go to Busty Bustlinder or whoever?

Maybe freeartbell.com is mad Keith took down their link  ;D
Saw a post from <freeartbell.com> at Sirius like 5 hours ago. It said something like, "I wouldn't trust him". Clicked it, and it was the blog.

Now, I can't find that either.

So, I guess we're just camping out here until there's some news? Or are we just the ones that can't let go of shit in life?

Yeah. For example, I'm still pissed that they cancelled Nowhere Man at the end of the first season. Bastards.

They've changed stuff at godaddy. its now about $25 to register your website and make it private so people don't know your home address phn # etc. it used to be cheap.

they do have a cheap basic do it yourself webdesigner on the site but I haven't looked at it yet.

i'm falling asleep. got to do my weekly nfl picks on another board and crash

For those who can't read that it says :

Offline at the moment.

Some script kiddy is trying to hack the site, so I'd rather just shut it off for awhile to frustrate him, be back in a bit.

" Script kiddy ? "

WTF is a script kiddy ?

I thought I'd heard just about every internet term there is.

Obviously I was wrong.

Script kiddie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is part of a series on
Computer hacking

In hacker culture a script kiddie or skiddie, (also known as skid, script bunny, script kitty,) are unskilled individuals who use scripts or programs developed by others to attack computer systems and networks and deface websites. It is generally assumed that script kiddies are juveniles who lack the ability to write sophisticated hacking programs or exploits on their own, and that their objective is to try to impress their friends or gain credit in computer-enthusiast communities. The term is typically intended as an insult.

I have two conclusions for what its worth.

1 ) Maybe Art was right and sinister behind the scenes forces are at work.

2) And maybe our efforts with #freeartbell worked better than we thought and certain people out there definitely felt WE ( the fans ) were a threat.

a script kiddy (or skiddy) is a person who uses other people programs or methods to perform illegal acts. this is because they are incapable of creating their own programs or  finding/exploiting flaws on their own.
other misused terms :
a hacker is not some nefarious person who breaks into other people computers or networks. that would be a cracker (as in safe cracker, not slang for a white person,or a food made from flour salt and water).
a hacker is someone who makes incompatible system work together in a creative way.

She has a google+ page that may shed some light.

I thought there was something odd, the writing style was to upbeat, but that maybe so cause I'm a grump.

Falkie is doing a yeoman job of keeping me checking back with this thread.....but

I'm checking it less often now. Something needs to happen soon in the crazy mixed up world of Art Bell or I'll need to find some other interweb distraction to occupy my meaningless life.

I'm working on my new party trick for Christmas... Swallow two pieces of string and they come out of my ass tied together....... I shit you knot.

Don't tell that joke in prison.

Looks to me like FREEARTBELL.COM was purchased as a domain mask of some sort to mask a blogspot page--if that is the case, it's about 10 bucks to do this for the year..

Looks like some amazon reviews on Noory's book are posted, though I'm quite disappointed that it only has one star! Surely flavored butter and turkey sandwiches are better than that?

I've posted a number of them.

There's a lot of shoddy knockoff stuff being sold on there from China that doesn't work.

Don't buy it then, problem solved.

MJ Sten, who runs the People Who Love Art Bell page on FB and who is a FB friend of mine, said that Keith told her that #freeartbell is fine anywhere except on the Sirius/XM FB page. Which makes NO sense to me.
Well, then, maybe we should go to the C2C facebook website and start jamming that domain with freeartbell
