I have a few contacts at the Santa Barbara Olive Oil Co., the original producer of AB's pizza punch, let me know if you need me to look up the info.

I wonder if they still have the recipe?

Half the problem the first time with Pizza Punch was a poor marketing campaign.  There's a niche market for the stuff, it just needs some strategy behind it.

true!
Jess is broke.

Damn Jess.  I'll bet he even has a cellphone.  It's a conspiracy.

Pizza "Punch" sounds too much like the '70s.  Need something like "Pizza Plus"; "#1 Pizza Sauce" etc.

Or Art has it buried in his back yard.

Ghost Gab

KNYE story follows. One of our paranormal team members wife was inside the studios of KNYE once, when she and he bought a house less than a mile from Art Bell. She was there with the real estate agent who also does voice over commercials for KNYE. Our team member, Mike, being a ham radio operator planned on building a giant loop antenna like Art has at his house. But he was not able to move to Pahrump due to unforseen work obligations, and the house deal was not finalized. Imagaine if the two got to battling over the ham bands, being so close.
Mike also shares another piece of radio history with Art, both of them graced the front cover of Popular Communication Magazine; Art in the mid 2000s, and Mike this year. I have a feeling Art and Mike would have been ham buddies if he would have actually moved to the kingdom of Nye. We all hope Art gets back to broadcasting, whatever the venue may be.

Have you seen some of the pictures like the Mars rodent? Clearly looks like a rat!

Jorch?  Jorch Noory?

I agree with you:  if Clyde could tone down those rants he tends to go on, too often, he could easily become THE host of late-night following-the-creepy radio.  But he probably isn't interested in being a Top Radio Talk Show Host star, or I think he WOULD tone down the rants:  I'm sure many people have told him they're off-putting.  But when you hear him on with a guest, or taking calls, pre-rant(s), he's one of the best minds and voices on late night radio.  I love that he even does some of his own ghost investigating, too.

Yes, he is "heavy" and he just had some rather serious cancer surgery, from which he was back on the air in just a few weeks.  His show airs live 5 nights a week, 7pm to midnight, out of his home station, KXL in Portland.  I usually stream it through Tunein.com.  Btw, that is one of the few places you will hear all five hours:  his show is syndicated on various stations throughout the country, where he airs in the timeslot prior to c2c usually, but the stations tend to play only 1-3 hours of his show, depending on the station.

I just can't stand the conspiracies and the production if Clyde's show. I'll take art's format any day.

The first NooryGab convention.

Gawd, that stuff (i.e. Vegemite) is pure OZ evil!

Yet, I'm a fan of the radio automation (Station Playlist) made by that genius guy in New Zealand.  Couldn't help but notice Art's most excellent time announcements done right on time by the friendly KNYE SPL computer.  Then it hit me.  He's been doing...and continues to do...something other than Sirius!  *faints*

Think you can arrange for a new production run? :)

All those announcements were done back in 2000-2001..

I've been listening to KNYE the last few hours. WOW what a great station and great music. Arties voice Is also nice hearing also. And lots of the music is his bumper music that I've become so addicted to. If we never get art back, at least we have KNYE.
KNYE: the ghost of Art Bell.

I wish you'd stop calling Art " Artie ". Artie is that guy who used to be a sidekick to Stern.
Art is Art or Arthur but never Artie.
Makes me cringe every time I read it.

Jorch?  Jorch Noory?

I can see it now.
Two black and white rats.
Both of them think they're Noory.
And they try to battle to the death but wind up boring themselves to death instead.

Nah, I think they would become so enraptured upon hearing themselves that they would slowly starve to death, unable to break away from each other's majestic word slurring.

I have been listening to the KNYE stream for about a half hour now.  It is full of static and tin.  Am I the only one that has this problem?  If so, I guess someone needs to know?

It's there to test the streaming capability.  It's definitely low bandwidth, but even that could (and probably would) be optimized to sound better.

I'd never heard KNYE before, and I'm definitely enjoying it.

You are correct...
After the recent lightning hit, the streaming system was damaged.
It's rather patched together at the moment.
To be fixed soon.....

I was trying to enjoy it, but my ears were slightly bleeding, LOL.  They know about it, so I am no longer concerned.   :D
