Nice to hear the dulcet tones of one Art Bell again. But to hear that Cumulus was going to pick up the show with all its stations around the country makes it even more disgusting of the sudden departure due to his wife's order to Art to quit the show and Art going with it and posting his resignation without thinking it over first.

Oh, I know. And thought it was bad thing even back then decades ago. Funny thing Norry the other night said Alan Berg inspired him to do talk radio. (The radio guy that was killed by some neo-Nazis if you recall.) And it wasn't the actual radio show that inspired him but the movie "Talk Radio" based on him. A weird guy.

I agree. Answered all my questions, at least. It's the sort of thing had Mr. Bell done on his own show that would've sounded too self-indulgent, but as the one being interviewed it's great.
