My God! Do I have to sit through a Spec to listen to a 'cast? I'll be half in the bag by the time the 'cast comes up. Probably pissed by the time MV decides to take my call. Hell, I'll be incoherent and ranting.

Yeah weather wise it has been a complete snoozefest here so far this year. Rather disappointing, actually, because I have always enjoyed the severe weather associated with this time of year.

i wouldn't put it in those terms. i respect what nature can do and i do not fear it. i am well prepared to live in this region of the United States. shelter, provisions, communications and a plan to use them.
i've been thru my share of tornadoes, typhoons (including flying in and out of them), earthquakes and volcanoes. i found the most difficult events to plan for are the human ones.
