Ah, but unless I am on air I don't make a penny from the show, so I am not asking for me. Again, it has always seemed to me that since Redacted was a Years long member here (and still is) that this group would have some interest in seeing her do well, crazy thought I know.

Art

Agreed, I've continued my sub and really want to see Heather progress.  I always liked her on the gabcast and she has a listenable to voice.  I just wish she was a touch more cynical (and not a witch ;)!)

Roswells.   I hope Heather success.... Heather needs to started  reading  hundreds of books and read the wall street journal every day.  Or find some other way to put together a base of knowledge of world events and just general knowledge in many areas.  Factor in the choice to become a witch .... pretty much tells me all I need to know. Oh well.

Willy, Art just doesn't get it.  :(

George "Falkie" Senda should be a regular on MITD and should be given his own segment titled  "Bizarre news stories of the day."

The 45 second segment would involve Falkie briefly talking about weird bizarre news stories ending with some small talk with redacted.

On fridays, Falkie would have a bigger role and would be allowed out of his cage to interact with open line callers.

This and other improvements (experienced, talented producer) would slowly help the show make a turn around.

Actually there is wisdom in  Chris's idea. Falkie does have skills. But does he have the work ethics to utilize his skills?

It could be a very entertaining segment each night.

If I was the producer, I'd give him chance. Or at least seriously explore the possibles.

Probably true. He does seem to be packing it on.

Yeah, you put up the money for that one and leave me out of it.

I think it's funny how what you put on hot dogs keeps popping up
But what about vinegar on French fries? That's about as northeast as it gets..... the heck with "tube steaks"

Mr Bell, if redacted, had a bit of, oh, let's say...... TALENT! It would be a different situation. This proves that merely having massive amounts of on air talent, doesn't make one a capable judge of on air talent.

Lilchris, do you honestly expect Bell to put someone on air merely because they're a ballgrabber? Some one with ZERO radio skills behind a mic. Come on, Art ain't that naive.

why not just have the big guy call in from time to time? juan gets in almost nightly anymore and i think it was last night heather seemed like she was almost begging for calls to come in.  This could be the ol' "hoof in the door."

Cmon Falkie,  you call that Chicago hotdog, pizzaroll eating, baby killing, english language murdering, Dave, whats his name, Noory.
Why not hit up MITD... see if you have some "chemistry?"

Well I'm officially not a subscriber anymore.  Best of luck.  My paypal credits ran out & I don't think I'm going to use my actual credit card going forward.

Art, with all due respect, may I ask how you were able to conceive that Redacted could have possibly  filled YOUR SHOES? I understand maybe training her through the production end, but NOT handing over the whole kit and kaboodle. There are plenty of talented folks I'm sure you could have chosen from.
I have tried to listen and sad to say I just can't do it. She interacts with the voice of a schoolmarm speaking to five year olds. And no, to many of us "she's doesn't get it. I could go on but I don't want to shred her. I appreciate what she's done, but unfortunately I've moved on. Not happily, because there is only ONE Art Bell.

You're the man, YOU are who I have hoped and supported for the right time to return to the airwaves, for YEARS! Even a few times a week would have been better than this. I realize your health is not perfect, but your life isn't OVER. Broadcasting is ART BELL. You say you knew that in the beginning it might not last a long time? That certainly wasn't how many of us perceived your return.

Miss you man. Hope you feel better. I check in nightly to see if you're on, then just feel disappointed and tune in somewhere else. Don't count yourself over yet! There's plenty of wisdom and life left in you. With much hope for you and yours always. ☮💚

Praise MV
+1.  Art, you are one hell of a show host but as a manager and PR guy?  Eh, well I'll just leave it there.  I can only guess that Ramona must have been the master at those skills.

I'm very sorry about the COPD and will always be disappointed to have lost you as THE Master of the night's airwaves.  An experienced, popular, and talented broadcaster would have had a tough time filling your shoes. so I don't know why you're surprised over some of the reactions to Ms. Wade.  Being a fan doesn't make a person an award winning, broadcasting icon.

I'm an East Coaster, put ketchup on hot dogs as a kid, didn't pick up the mustard habit until later.  Ketchup on frankfurters seemed pretty common around me, although so were mustard, relish, or sauerkraut -- or, if you were getting it from a stand or similar vendor, cooked onions in reddish sauce.

Lately my chief use for ketchup has been as barbecue sauce for pork spare ribs.  I do sometimes use or make other sweet & sour sauces for broiling pork spare ribs, but ketchup seems to work consistently best.

Mustard goes better with most cured meats, with which ketchup would be yucky, but it's OK on hot dogs even if mustard's a bit better.  Mustard's also good with cheeses, where ketchup would definitely be yucky unless counteracted by something else like hamburger.  Raw tomato is fine with those things, though; it's the extra sugar of ketchup, mostly, that clashes.

Mayo, mayo on everything :) even more now I found Bacon Mayonaise ;)

Speaking of terrorists, here's what to do with them. In a clinical setting, inject them with the opiate of your choice. Let's say, morphine, give daily injections, slowly increase to a large, not lethal, daily dose. Then, after 2 weeks, withhold injections, inducing opiate withdrawal. After 3 or 4 days of dope-sickness, repeat the process.
Thoughts?

American ingenuity and initiative strikes again. Some people just talked a out this idea. These guys actually did it.

Let me just say, without overthinking too too much, you don't want to shoot any innocent civilians with this ammo. It's bad enough getting accidentally shot in this life, but to have your whole afterlife also ruined is a bit much.

No not a crazy thought at all, that's why we made it only a Month to Month basis, we knew it might not last a long time and wanted nobody to lose money. Of course the number of subs is down some but still in the many thousands with people joining every day because of Heather since of course it has been Month's now. I will if I am able do some fill in as I have said but I do have health issues now that control my ability to do that. Heather will either continue to grow into the position or not so you are correct, it's her show now and she can change it in any way she wishes.

Art
Since it is her show now, then why is she still filling in and keeping your seat warm?? Would it not be about time to for Keith to not using you as a carrot trying to fool people into thinking that you might one day return?
It is a really dishonest way of doing things.

It's like a world famous chef opening a restaurant that bears their name, who suddenly retires and puts the book keeper in charge as chef and expecting people to still come and pay the same amount for their meals that the world famous chef was charging.

If you can find a restaurant where you can eat for free, and only have to pay if you want to eat yesterday's meals. At $4.99. I would say the chef ain't all that important, or at least not much to complain about. Go eat elsewhere.

Except in this case 90% of the competition offers the meals of last day entirely free of charge and with a more experienced chef.

So you listen to ALL the various podcasts done by people who post here, and support them with donations?  Including Falkie and his videos?

Seems like you would if posting at BellGab is the criteria.
