It's cool that you guys managed to get a hobby going out of this, and I totally support that, even if I don't want the show to die. I plan on continuing to draw fun MiTD-related shit and spread it around to whoever's willing to me a S.A.S.E. or find it on a coffee shop bulletin board.  And like I've said before, if that makes me a total idiot, then cool, I'm an idiot. But at this point it seems like waiting around for a show to either die or go on forever depending upon your view of it is a little like sitting around and watching paint dry.

But I guess there are folks who like doing that too.

On a side note - the cesspool appears to be clogged with shit ... it takes forever for a page to load if it actually tries instead of just instantly showing a blank page. Anyone else noticing this??

I would appreciate the government catching terrorists from their buying weapons or money laundering instead of what they're sexting to each other.

That would be nice, but way too many of these operations are getting into the operational phase virtually undetected. We do need to do a better job of disrupting these organizations at the source, before they lift a finger to do anything. The lone wolf problem is something else again.

That's kind of what I do. I click the little thing that says "new" and read the posts on whatever page it's on. If I see something I want to respond to, I go ahead and do that, then get a burger or meet a friend or something. Or I check PMs.

You could try skimming through the posts you don't read. Not that time-consuming. Occasionally, something may grab your attention and you'll be glad you could just stop and read.

And the whole 'virgin nerds' thing was overplayed in the 1990s. Gaming is now bigger than hollywood and music combined. Gaming is the biggest form of entertainment  in the world and its not "virgin nerds'- The average gamer outspends the average golfer in spades. Whats happening is that this attitude has slowly been entrenched into society through the youth and education and now (especially with common core) they want to begin indoctrinating children younger and younger with their forced ideology.

That professor isnt in a bubble- TONS of campuses now have crazy word lists (they deem offensive) and  in some cases will kick you out for using such horrid language such as "male or female" or for disagreeing that gender is a social construct.

Shes getting in the ground floor of what I believe is the next frontier in entertainment , at a perfect time, and young enough to really learn the business and watch it evolve. Youtube allows the cream to rise to the top even without corporate sponsors and promotion- ecelebs are a huge talent pool who are finally starting be recognized and figure out how its possible to make a decent living with nothing but talent. The superstars of the coming generations will be discovered on the web. She certainly has talent in her blood and someone who knows his craft to advise her. Might do really well.
