Guest tonight is a junk scientist nassim haramein

I really prefer credible scientist. I'll still listen. Art will find something and make it a good show, because he is that good.

Be interesting if Art had the guy on to debate Nassim on air.
Nassim seem like one of those guys.... the David Wilcock type of guy ;D who hires bodyguards for conventions, to create the illusion of importance, because his ego is astronomical.

I am really looking forward to tonight's guest. I've been reading a lot of Brian Greene and various books on Einstein recently. We need more shows on physics.

I listened to Richard C Hoagland's Tue. nite/Wed. morning show. He told his side of the story of the friction between him and Dave on the air, and behind the scenes. It was great hearing it straight from the horse's mouth. PremRat sounds almost evil.
I want to hear this but I'm not paying $5 to do it.  I'll just refer back to his interview with Bateman.

Brian Greene would be an amazing guest. He is an actual theoretical physicist. As far as I can see Nassim has no such credentials.
Elegant Universe and Fabric of The Cosmos are interesting reads.
Art interviewed Brian a few times, even during the 90's. He's one of those classic guests.

Not to worry. I'm going to have to find a way to listen because dave also talked about Bill and me. I want to know exactly what he says so I can correct any blunders he might be trying to advance. He cannot be allowed to write the final report on all of this.

Let Art interview him and enjoy it!  No credentials, or with, if a man can make a good case for his ideas, let him speak.  If he fails to be convincing, then don't believe him.

Agreed. When legends like Freeman Dyson are still alive and healthy, Art is wasting time interviewing piffle clowns like this guy.
Seconded.  Wouldn't it have been green to hear Art interview Richard Feynman?  If only he lived a bit longer...  It doesn't matter, in the end I'll still listen.

From what I have read tonight's guest is a talented speaker, so hopefully that translates to an interview.

Yeah it was pretty much the same story as he told Bateman.

Even though Noory treated Richard like shit I think if he was asked back on C2C, to appear as a guest, he would accept the offer.

Only if they use bongo drums to make contact

Does anyone know what time the podcast version of the show is posted?  I'm not going to stay up to listen tonight, but I'd like to download it to throw on my Zune in the morning before I leave.

This. Art handles the quacks pretty well. Hoping for a great show. Hancock is the only show I've really loved so far. I know it won't be on that level but still..

If one presents scientific theories and can substantiate those theories with evidence then 'believing' has nothing to do with it.

When people say they 'believe' in UFO's that is like saying I believe in apples. UFO's and apples both exist, there is no belief needed, it is a fact.
There have been thousands, if not millions, of eyewitness reports of unidentified flying objects.

Anyone who is a good orator can tell a 'believable' story. The problem arises when they are challenged to prove their claims.

As Carl Sagan said, "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence".

any update on MV, or is there a congrats thread I missed?

ALL science is Theory, not necessarily fact.  As new and better ideas come forth what is now considered fact will be replaced by new theories that will be considered facts.

This is intellectually dishonest.

Yes Science uses hypotheses and then theories. Those theories are tested by other scientists and over time those theories may well gain acceptability.

But your position is that all science is just theories and therefore has no more merit than a huckster.

Even Art has said there'll be hits and misses.  What I enjoy is he isn't afraid to try and can turn lead into gold.  That "other guy at night" turns everything into a turd.  Johnny Bench didn't hit a homer every time at bat.

OK, over stated my position, I am in agreement with you.  There IS merit and it is not on a par with quack ideas.  But it IS fundamentally still a belief, and may change over time with new information or ideas.
