Admirable advice I am sure the old idiot won't take. You sound like a 'glass half full' type of person?  No doubt he will do all he can to queer Art's pitch because he has nothing else to offer. He doesn't have an identity of his own. He has always been watered-down Art at best. I have no idea what the current mess of a show is like but I am prepared to bet that it isn't getting any better. There will be spoiler tactics galore that I am sure Art is well aware of. I think Dave sometimes sees himself as a bit of a demagogue in the Alex Jones mould, but he doesn't have the guts to go on with it. He is the personification of mediocrity.

Nah- I'm not always that positive. It just annoys me to see someone who has a successful venue handed to them on a silver platter and not appreciate all that goes with it. And mediocrity shouldn't be it!

Wow! The NC is over and done!! Congratulations Art! I guarantee with the manipulation of the Sirius debacle I'll bet they thought Art would have caved and given up. Dave has got to be beating his rug! Obviously they don't realize the passion Art has for his shall we say"Mistress" Radio and his tenacity!!
I'd really like to express something that's been on my heart if you'll bear with me. First to Keith, a big thank you for all you've done through thick and thin. I remember the days of Art  saying Keith I'm sending you these photos get them up on the Bulletin Board now!! Within minutes they were posted along with managing the Art Bell Forums among other duties. I was Lizzyinjax back then if anyone remembers or cares. If you do, nice to see you again! So a huge Thank you Keith for your commitment and helping us get through these last two years! Cheers Brother!

So on to my main thought. I've been thinking so much about Ramona Bell during this blitz and ramping up for the new show. Missing her and thinking how she would have taken this by the horns! Dave would have NEVER had a chance!! With NO disrespect to Airyn, we're so thankful that Art was able to find you and have a reason to go on after Ramona had to leave us.  And of course the blessing of Miss Asia R. Bell to the both of you! As one of the Gabbers stated in an earlier post, (paraphrasing here) "there is something different in the feel and spirit of the startup MITD". The plan is flowing smoothly and ALL seems right in the world. Despite the deceit, pettiness and interference by those in fear,  MITD continues to thrive and will!!! I know it hasn't been easy, but seeing the coming together of those with the same hopes, you've reached the summit! Now back to my original thoughts. sorry, I'm a bit flighty...
Most of the estimated 25 million + who listened nightly for many, many years, 7 nights a week not many realized the input and work that Ramona poured into the success of the show.  As I understood it, Ramona use to do a lot of the ground work and handling/scheduling guests until Art was ready to interview and bring them on. She was MAJOR along with Art and part of the driving force of the success of Coast and Dreamland! She was a warrior in her own right! And for another Ramona memory, she was able to grow Artichokes in the Desert, huge ones!! The Lady oozed of many talents!! Miss her dearly!
I think that when Art started with Sirius the undertaking and handling both the scheduling of the guests and interviewing was a HUGE task. There had to be a getting back on course. Only this time just the Man himself. This I'm sure was quite an ordeal for Art, but now he's learned through trial and error!! And so here we are at the pivitol moment for a new era of Epic proportions! I believe Ramona is shining down over the Man she adored and is helping to pave the way as Art believes she had brought Airyn into his life. So we thank you Ramona for your love and selflessness so that in 3 days we'll be Taking the Ride again!! And to you Airyn and Asia, we thank you for sharing Art with us! Blessings to all! I'm starting to think that Art's radio show appearance, supposedly TODAY, will be on a PremRat show, or at least a Clear Channel one.  That really would require last minute secrecy.  Keith Rowland as good as hinted as such when he came on the Bella-Haven podcast last night.

I'd think a PremRat appearance would require some MAJOR bridge rebuilding and repair of a tear in The Universe on PremRat's part.  We shall see.

Celestial made that point to me as well in a PM.  It's possible but how many TV stations have 100s of affiliates?  I would think that would be a smaller one that receives syndication:  not a main TV station like ABC, NBC, CNN, etc.
