I agree. I still think the show would have lasted with mike had art came back on weekends and help the show out like he did with borry. But that was a bad time in arts life.

It really is a shame that those of us who do shows that air the same time as Dave have to keep secret Guest's and promo efforts because of a now well known history of the sad tricky and silly stuff that goes on in front of, or behind the scenes.

I just don't get it, and I mean I really don't get it at all, it ONLY hurts them when they do something petty and frankly stupid because they are the big Elephant in the room so one would think any controversy with me or any other small guy only helps the small guy and hurts the big guy who would have better off remaining silent. I guess they just can not resist.

Well, Coast lost me for good. I considered myself relatively open-minded when it came to the show as it's currently run. I'd listen occasionally during the week, and almost always on weekends. No more, not after that last stunt. Even the weekend shows are dead to me now.

i've caught bits of howard's show.  he sounded very listenable, from what i heard.
