Terrestrial radio's revenge or the last stand?
This sort of is getting pretty interesting.. I think the landscape of radio could possibly change again. Get fun again. that may be the unintended goal of the Art Bell return.

This story may be of interest.. Tonight I was having some major GODADDY website issues, still am. But while I was on the phone with a great helper named 'Phillip,'  (not UFO) things got boring and we started talking.. I explained my website, at his request, and he asked what my readers mostly read.. I explained Art Bell's return.
Phillip proceeded to yell back to others in the room that Art Bell is coming back. And this little call center in Iowa went nuts with applause. I was told that Coast isn't the same with the 'new guy.'

There are fans about to be born.
And reborn.

Oh, and my site still isn't working quite right.
But Phil (not UFO) is working on it..

Enlightenment isn't always what you believe, think, or how you feel reality should be. Endless rainbows, unicorns, fairies, pixie dust, are for a perfect Utopian world that only exist in the confines of ones mind. Because the one perfect all knowing "Being" who created all the Verses either thought things should be the way they currently are, or couldn't make this Verse a perfect Utopia. Screw the Dark Ages mentality.

Life is a very messy business by it's very savage nature. Human beings are not exempt from natures savage rules. No matter how hard we try to place ourselves high upon a pedestal, using our large calorie hungry brains; attempting to segregate ourselves from the other animals and nature. We may in fact be the most adept creatures alive using those savage unspoken rules. Rules that have been handed down to all creatures for many eons.

Human beings are capable of preforming incredible acts of altruism and violence. Sometimes in a single act. Sometimes it's intended, other times it's mere unforeseen unintended consequences. Our large powerful brains allows humanities pendulum to swing far across the spectrum of beautiful and horrific acts. Owning such large brains carries with it many heavy responsibilities. This is our gift, this is our curse. Such is the human condition, and always will be. Until we are no longer prisoners of our DNA, thats been tempered for eons by natures forge. Where only the most adaptive, strong survive, and thrive.

Good read. I know Columbia and NYU kids who fall into the libertarian and conservative categories who are afraid to say much of anything for fear of inciting the liberal lynch mob. This encapsulates things nicely:

Just because someone doesn't mean it seriously doesn't mean others won't take it seriously, or that it won't trigger a painful reaction that one could have avoided by not using a slur in the first place. Before I get accused of being the PC police, not "everything" is offensive. But be cognizant that you are privileged to be a member of the "default" orientation and would most likely never be penalized for loving who you love. You can throw the word "fag" around but never have to pay for being one. And you don't get extra credit or "get out of using hate speech free" cards for knowing one either.
