You never asked me if I like pink bullets.  I love pink bullets, and would think very highly of the person who presented them as a gift.  It's...aw...man I'm shutting up now.  Ok, shutting up for a minute or two, at least.

But no, I only put the idea out there. I don't imagine that there are too many people that have the his and her's pink and blue bullets sets yet...I have been warned that these are the types of things that can't be talked about around here for some reason.  sssshhhhhhush

love that...if its a joke of course! but 2011 is 4 years before me! so good on ya mate! in jazmunda speak...

Oh, it is true. Time means nothing... and unlike other forums neither does post counts. Being a fan is all that matters so you need not worry about anything.

Sometimes you just don't realize there are others out there that like the same things you do! Here we are all these years later interested in Art Bell...and blessed he's coming back...for a day or decade, who cares...enjoy the moment! Love it!

I'm a ordained minister thanks to the internet(s).

Blessed be, you are few and far between on the internet circuit Reverend....fight the good fight. I don't know if he followed through with it but Art talked about receiving a ministry kit in the mail, and becoming an Ordained minister.

Yeah, there is a site called the universal life church that will do it for you. http://www.themonastery.org/ordination

Yeah someone mentioned this about post counts a few pages back, and I never really thought about it but realized how true it was.  Makes for a free and open non-hierarchical kind of vibe.  And further I'm so glad we don't have those cheesy titles based on post counts like "Apprentice/Adept/Wizard" or whatever.  (But I am a Jedi, for the record.)

I really like BellGab...is there a thread for Newbies? Sorry but there is so much inside info it really is hard to enjoy the thread...thanks all!
I'm new too.  I didn't even know about Art Bell until the beginning of 2013.  But once I listened to him, I became a binge Art Bell listener and haven't stopped.  Sometimes, I think I may need an intervention!  ;D 8)  I'm also a binge Bellgab luker and am lovin' every minute. People are smart and witty here, while being vaguely loveable and Romulan/Romanian.  And Art posts here.  It is awesome.  This is the funnest ride I have ever been on!

Yes, you are a Jedi, and this is why we're meant to be.  (Ha haa, ok, I'll cut it out.  roflmao)

All I know is that BellGab has some of the smartest people I have ever seen on a forum, and to be able to put all the other bs aside... and just talk is a wonderful thing.

Maybe this Universal Life Church is the Church that is trying to recruit, Art Bell.  I guess a good interview might reveal why....

Just got caught up on this thread.  INSAINE!!! Weddings, snipers, secret Art Bell presents, flying cars, missle silos, Rush, Las Vegas, nipple clamps, kitchen appliances,  ball gags, small animals, vaccuum cleaners, whips, chains, bedazzlers, snakes, lip balm, corn nuts, and dental dams.  WHEW!  WE NOW RETURN YOU TO THE ARTS.

I betcha Dave and his cronies call us Bellophants.

A blending of Bell and Sychophants as well as rhyming with Elephants as a not so subtle dig at the perceived size of the waistline's of haters on the net.

Assholes.

Look at all the celebs who have joined like Joan Rivers who will do your wedding from beyond the grave. I mean why not she tweeted from it, hehehe.

Elephants never forget things like Dave's drunken posts, and most don't have jobs like us haters.

Some people hate what they are. Look at all those anti-gay congressmen who get caught in public restrooms soliciting.

Nope you pretty much got it.  Fear not, Art will post again at some point and the temporary madness will subside.

Yeah but Redacted's alot more badass than Padme.  She ain't gonna fall for no Jedi mind tricks.  I'm just hopin' that back-row Rush ticket will keep me in her good graces.

SciFiAuthor

I feel dirty.

I've been away from Bellgab generally, only occasionally lurking and watching the build up of Art's return with excitement at the prospect of having something decent to listen to again at night. But something haunts me terribly. When I look back to the Dark Matter run, after having much time to reflect on it, I find that my favorite show of that period was Art's Richard Hoagland interview. It was great, engaging and at times hilarious radio if you've been listening to Art long-term as I have since 1995.

Now, I don't buy Hoagland's ideas. I haven't since I read "The Monuments of Mars" in 1991. He has truly magnificent hair, I'll give him that, and probably uses a decent aftershave and the man is one of the few people left alive who knows how to properly pair an ascot with the right fashion ensemble, but beyond that I consider Hoagland a grade A flim flam man. Yet I can't wait to hear Art interview him again. You just know it's going to be a great show.

It's screwing with my mind. I know Graham Hancock will be as great of an interview as he always is. Buy his conclusions or not he always makes for engaging listening regardless and Art's interview style will make it an epic first night. But I just can't shake this Hoagland thing. I'm going to have to hire a therapist or something until the show happens. If you'd have suggested to me in 1996 that I'd ever be excited about a Hoagland interview I'd have gone unhinged and done terrible things that would have resulted in my being very much under arrest. But now, I'm excited. Shamefully excited against my better judgment.

That's not to say that I don't have an open mind. Malachi Martin used to scare the shit out of me late at night. But Hoagland . . .

Bring it on. WB Art, I await to enter my credit card number for my subscription.

And now you're asking me to justify my posts? I should say this post too. That's like asking me not to discuss custom made, his and her's, bullets - in pink and blue. I'd imagine that it would be accepted like any other gift given to a gun enthusiast. But not here for some strange reason.....

You wounded flower.

I'm listening to the JC clips, and if he was here he would be disgustated by such comments.
