Got it.  I will not do any photoshops of the new people, and will welcome them respectfully and with dignity.  Hopefully they'll be wise enough to steer clear of the Falkie thread, at least until they get their feet wet!

We are making real progress with all our technical issues, it's really amazing how close we are getting. This whole project is going to be real fun. A lot of things had to happen to make Midnight in the Desert a reality.

I will sure be depending on all of you who have a proven track record of, how should I put this...flooding information to a target! Getting the word out will be very important.

This board is the only kind that I would want to call "home."  I understand that there will be people who expect a moderator to keep them comfortable- but I prefer this.  Overall, I think that most people would fit in here, but I am glad that there is a place for those who cannot cope.  Kind of like MITD and Coast- there is room for both and they cater to different audiences.  (Personally, I think that this one caters to the MITD crowd who can think for themselves and enjoy human interaction in all of its forms...)

Anyhow, I promise not to tease nor attack any new poster for at least the first ten minutes or their first two posts (whichever comes first...)

New users are treated very well here, especially compared to other forums. I haven't seen any new members treated poorly except for maybe the obvious troll. I hope a lot of people join the forum when the show starts in July.
