A donate button is a great idea. Keith also has skin he can hardly afford in this game. It sure is a gamble but what the hell. We are just taking the Weekend to be sure we have not lost our minds.

"gamble" Get real Art... you ARE Art Bell! it's clear to me that if you commit, sky's the limit.

Hire the right staffers to get the back room (office/accounting/banking etc.) humming along to take the pressure off the you and Keith, so you guys can spend your time making the best broadcast possible.

There are only a few greats in the world that have your potential, commit and gamble a little capital, can't lose. Again if need any help, just ask.

It's still a gamble for him because it's not easy to do, and he's got to gain traction with listeners that: May have forgotten him, or are too young to know him, or that want some other format type show (politics or what have you), or are tired of radio, or no longer like high strangeness, and so forth.  And while the economy in the USA (and almost ONLY the USA) has improved, many workers are desperately under employed and are robbing peter to pay paul, and Art also needs to build an audience of consumers that advertisers want and can identify.

Do I think he can succeed?  Yes, and quite well.  Will he, I don't know, but if Leo Laporte can do it for ten years and build a heck of a studio and a matrix of a dozen or so good shows, so can Art.  I wish I was doing a show with them.

Hopefully Art does a weekly youtube cast with video to generate listeners.  He needs edgy, mysterious, exciting shows.  All of us here will follow him loyally, but he needs a lot more people than are in this forum.
