Just a reminder that tonight is one of Art Bell's favorite times of the year.  That's right, move your clocks ahead one hour when you go to bed.  I will always remember Art's disdain for this antiquated ritual.

I live in one of the two states that didn't have DST, and a few years back they changed that for reasons... and I now feel the same way that he does. Hell when we have to fall back any hour gained is lost while resetting all the clocks in the house.

Falkie- you're not the only person who has to live with the effects of a dysfunctional family. It is painful and it can cause lifelong problems, BUT you and only you can choose to change that and make a better life for yourself. This doesn't make it OK for you to treat others badly. You could try and start your day thinking about what you have to be grateful for instead of your problems. I hope you can find someone to help you.

Sorry for going off tract of the topic. I just hated to see a fun Bellgabber like (Redacted) treated so badly.

Luckily there are no longer VCRs to change and my smartphone and computer adjust themselves. I just the leave the oven as I have no idea how to change that infernal device and I've trained myself to not rely on it as an accurate timepiece.

i refuse to take the time from anything other than an oven.  when my oven seemed to be keeping inaccurate time, i took it to a jeweler.

I still have a bunch of old clocks that have to be changed manually, and I have to reset my watch too so it is set at the exact same as the computer. Even a second of pisses me off, hehe.
