For the record,
Yes it was me in the chat room. I spent most of the time trying to prove it
was me. At any rate it was.

Thank you for being there Art! ;D

Thanks again, Art. My final thought for the night:

I was not willing to pay a sub fee to Sirius just to hear you. A few dollars directly to you, however? I could not be stopped from doing so.

coaster

really happy to hear that you are coming back Art. you are the king of radio.

WildCard

Has anybody heard Art on ham?

edit- I haven't, but I've only checked the browser/net thingy a few times.

Thanks for showing up, Art! It's gonna be a great summer  8)

Also, I believe Art could possibly make enough through YouTube affiliate $ that eventually all of us could enjoy free high bitrate in stero.

Thanks for answering our questions. You can understand why we were hesitant to believe that it was actually you given the trolling nature of the internet.

Thanks for suffering through my dumb questions and comments, Art!

Plot twist: he was actually "Arts_Farts" and not "Art".

On SIT tonight Art is announcing "the exceptional George Noory is going to take over for him" while he is on some kind of long term medical treatments. "George get it"

The second caller after the announcement says he doesn't like GN. Brilliant caller whoever that was.

SnapT

EXTRA EXTRA!  Falkie to mediate feud between Art Bell and George Noory during live interview with Noory this April!

No one needs Art and Jorch to be best buddies.

Was playing that particular SIT show this week of all weeks coincidence or synchronicity?

I'll take my answer off the air.

Haha!
But let us remember the voice of the true fan, the Bellgabber who called in before Bellgab existed and told Art he didn't like George. The proto-gabber, first among us.

It would have been an epic genesis if that caller was MV.

Talk about an origin story.

I missed it! Hi Art, just send me a pm so we can become best friends.  It would really make me happy to be best friends with someone as interesting as you. I am kind of kidding but not really.

SQUEEEEEE. !!!!

TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Tonight's Somewhere in Time just so happens to feature the moment when Art talked about his upcoming trip with Ramona --and the caller Art told about how George 'gets it.'

The people at Premiere are low .. the scum most certainly waited until Art made an announcement to play something that not only insulted Art in the lowest way imaginable, but also in a way that tried to convince listeners who don't know any better that Art supports George Noory.

No coincidences. Right George>?

The only people who will fall for this ploy are the ones who belong in the C2C audience. This should be a good indicator for Art to know how rattled they are by his recent announcement.

A few thoughts,

I am by nature a competitor but it has to be a near even playing field. I was in a situation where
in order for people to listen to my show they had to pony up about $180.00 a Year and buy a
special receiver when I was on Sirius/XM, combine that with a streaming service that had drop out
problems and...well it was not close to a even field. That is not to say that Sat radio is less in any
way, as a service to deliver to cars and trucks it's great!

Now comes July. We will provide a FREE stream at a decent bit rate for anybody who would like
to listen on a Computer, Phone, or device of your choice. It will be a great show with very few
commercials. There will be some special features that I can not talk about now because they
would be copied. We will have enough time to explore topics without breaks so long you almost
forget what was being talked about. We will do the show from 9PM-12AM P.T. Monday-Friday.

For those who would like a higher bit rate and Stereo there will be a charge of some sort, if you
decide to pay a few bucks, that will also allow you to download a Stereo Podcast version of the show at
a high bit rate and listen anytime you like. You will also get other benefits. However the live show
will be FREE to all.

Most of all I will do my best to deliver a quality product, that is how to lead in the Broadcast world.
I am more than convinced that radio as we know it today is slipping away and shares are shrinking
for AM so fast that I expect the Hams who first used what is now the AM band will get it back one day
in the not very distant future. I am very excited about what is getting closer by the day.

Hey Art,

What are your plans regarding bumper music?  Aren't the royalty costs likely to be probitive if you want to play the music so many of us associate with your show?
