but he is by far the best freelance interviewer (IE no scripted interviews, or  even prepared questions asked for the most part, with a willingness to go down the rabbit hole so to speak) i have ever heard.

Midnite pacific time we get a "throw Keith under the bus" post by Art on Facebook.

1. These podcasters are independent contractors. They don't have to ask permission to do spots on any other show. In fact Keith can kick them off air whenever he wants w/o warning as we have seen with another well known podcasters. This is not exclusive content.

2. According to Keith, Church was on C2C to do a little PR for DMR. Similar audience, even though C2C listenership is shrinking they still reach more people than DMR. I see this as a positive. But I can see why Art would get leery about Premier.

3. Using social media for this stuff is bush-league. Not sure how this is good for anyone. Amateurish, petty.

Hate to say I called this one, but I seem to remember writing something about "if Art came back, it would not be on DMR and he would figure out a way to leave Keith hanging". Boom! I should have my own NYE predication show... not really... it was just luck.

I still think if Art had a one night per week gig, where he could focus all his efforts on just one show per week. I think he could do well with that. Although, I think that's where the disconnect is for Art. He still feels like he can do a full schedule, but perhaps in the back of his mind, there lingers some doubt, thus, the litany of excuses.

Jimmy has shown he's willing to take the shortcuts (some may call them "opportunities") to succeed. How it ends up is to be determined.

The more recent developments have caused a lot (including myself) to lose respect for him. But if he wants to further his career and make it lucrative on someone else's terms, that's his decision. I'm still reserving final judgement until after I hear Jimmy's first Coast.

I certainly hold those who stayed true to themselves in higher regards. You guys have taken Art's lessons about dealing with networks/corporations to heart. We'll see how Jimmy handles his new "friends."

From my limited personal dealings with Art he is a man of his word. And
his word is his bond.  One of the old style, "Let's shake on it" kind of
guys, and that was/is good enough for him.  That does not work in the
world today as a general rule, sadly, but Art truly has had it with KR
over how he handled this.  Yes, a million other issues going on, and we
know the scum who started this all, but that is it.  This is not about an
"excuse" to get out of coming back, Art had the back and other excuses
if that was this goal.  Art feels strongly on this trust issue, he reacted
from the gut, and now the consequences must be dealt with.  If I was
MV and Bateman I would put together a proposal IMMEDIATELY and
send it to Art.

Otherwise I fear Art will look around, see his (limited) options, and just
say "Fuck it."  He needs to keep moving forward, or he wont be moving
at all.

Jimmy Church is scum in my book now.  Here's the deal:  My sibling knew the teacher that died and knew a few of the children that died at Sandy Hook.  The hideous manner in which Church failed to handle the Alex Jones acolyte who asserted that Sandy Hook never happened, where Jimmy boy tacetly agreed with him, didn't question the guest at all, Church's total lack of morals, well, this is also the same idiot who offended hundreds of listener who complained that his bumper music was a bad choice for a late night show, considering that many try to fall asleep during the show.  Church insulted these listeners.  And then, what does Church do?  He appears on the George Noory show (it's not coast 2 coast, they don't have the right to call it that any longer in my opinion) and sucks Noory's penis after being blessed by Keith Rowland when he knew all too well that this is a slap in the face of Art Bell.  I'd like to give Church a piece of my mind, the creep.  Thanks, Church, for taking advantage of Art all while stabbing him in the back.  Church, you are an evil SOB.
