Just saw this. The article is wonderfully written, and whomever is responsible for getting this in Talkers, writing it, creating that fabulous ad, and then making a campaign to pay for it all ... all the while under BellGab radar? What sorcery is this?

I noticed that the term XDS is omitted from the copy and wondered if its a non-essential.  I then rooted around Google and discovered another odd something that may have gotten under the Bellgab radar at this linked page:

Nexus is the company that's distributing Art's XDS feed, BUT, they are also now carrying Leo Ashcroft's new show (Dark Thirty Radio), AND also employing and applying Art's coined ad copy  "Take Back The Night" !  slogan to/for Leo's new show!

I've tried to keep up with the Art Bell thread (a job in itself)  and haven't heard any mention of these particular oddities.

The Format:
The program consists of thought provoking discussions. Generally every evening a different guest (or several) talks with Leo. A search of Bellgab reveals it was during Art's September 22, 2015 show that he issued the "Take(ing?) Back the Night" rallying cry. It was then picked-up and repeated numerous times here at Bellgab during the course if the week.

The new Nexus/Ashcraft blurb uses the slogan no less than five separate places and times, as well as a hybrid of the Classic Ross Mitchell bit;
"Wanna Take a Ride"
(becomes in Leo's version)
"Wanna Take Back the Night"

I wonder if he'll use "The Chase" too, just cover all the bases.

Leo lost his mind because Keith Rowland refused to link to his site on artbell.com (stupid move by Keith, admittedly) and took his marbles to another playground.  It's been claimed that the people at Coast made him an offer to jump ship however Leo denies this.  He hosted a stream for the noncommercial affiliates to carry Art's broadcast however when he quit he was either told by Art/Keith to turn that stream off or he did it himself.  XDS is unaffected by Leo's meltdown and affiliates are now handled by Leo's replacement, Amy.

Yep there are probably lots of fake JCs now, who could tell for sure especially on a facebook page.
Facebook doesn't even allow fake people's names - if you report the page they will block it.
