I ended up voting for Seesaw. Doesn't feel right to me to share the song with George, and if it has to be one of these two, keep the momentum from DM imo.

Share the song with george? Really? That lazy no-talent fucker lucked into the gig and has contributed ZERO to the show that Art built. If Art can legally use the chase for his new show he should do it.

I voted for The Chase because I love it, but I do fear that trouble will come if both Midnight in the Desert and C2C are using it as an opener.  I don't like the Seesaw choice at all mainly because of its beginning.

A new version is something you can nail down as something different than the Coast is using. It would remove any tackiness of being on both shows. It would be a tactful coup d'etat.

Yep that truly is a shame that  Noory still hasn't truly made c2cam his own show including using HIS OWN intro and bumper music completely, and stop stealing all of Art's old playlist that he is still using for the past 12 years.
Noory should just use his own unique theme song, the UFO Phil song for his intro and exit song and can use his Frank Sinatra and similar song selections for the bumper music.
Noory should act like the "nice guy" he claims he is and give up all the old Art Bell music to prove it!

As for Coast, I know you don't want it to be doomed but it's only a matter of time. The show is dying a slow, slow, garbled, screened lines, death. When I started listening to you and started talking to my friends about you, it seemed like everyone was a secret Art Bell fan. I was recently at a party and George's name was brought up by some one and a few people laughed and said he was awful. I sat in my introverted corner and cracked a sly smile of validation.

Coast will be done within five years. At least done with George, there might be one more host who comes in and tries to salvage the once mighty ratings juggernaut but it'll be a lost cause.

Oh, he made it his own. The show sucks... and that is all he knows how to do. I think he needs to change it to The Dave Noorie Show, and since he thinks he can sing the man should do his own theme with UFO JC outtro.

This probably belongs more in the "sucks" thread... But dumb ditties reminded me of the ballad of Irving and I was thinking that somebody could do a personalized theme song for Dave by simply changing the name.

It would start with the description that he was mean and nasty right clear through, which is kind of weird 'cause he was yellow too."  ... When Art said "draw, and draw right now"- Dave drew- drew a picture of a cow.... The town said "Dave, we need your gun" but when the train pulled in at the break of dawn, Dave's gun was there, but Dave was gone.

It would end with "Dave... Big, fat Dave... Big, dumb, dumb Dave... Big dumb, dumb, dead Dave.  The 142nd best broadcaster- in the west." (I know #142 is being generous- but I am in a giving mood this evening.)

I think it will continue to decline and will continue to morph into more of a political show. I think it is salvageable with the right host. But Lisa/Premier are allowed to pick the host it very well could be doomed. Given the affiliate total and declining listener numbers at some point Premier is going to be forced to make a change.

No kidding?  Glass covers?  I need to google that now.  I actually have an Apple Store appt On Monday for them to replace it.  Verizon would only get me a refurb!  But it just stopped doing voice to text and no Siri response!  I'm demanding a brand new phone and it's going to be interesting, though I've heard they've a tendency to please, but here's my leverage.  My second appt following the iPhone is to "buy a computer."  I'm not mentioning it unless they do.  I want to see if the pleasuring stories are true first✊

it's not Alien technology. When you carry it in your bag or pocket unprotected, that's like wiping it with fine sandpaper all day long. Of course it gets scratches. That's like complaining to Mc Donalds that their coffee is hot.

the thing with the music is - EVERYBODY thinks he's a DJ, including Art Bell, although I could care less what music he plays. A few of the old Art Bell songs are surely nice, for nostalgia and creating the same mood, but more important is the actual talk, and that Art has fun doing the show.
He's been doing a good enough job anyway always with picking music that fits the shows.
I know from myself, it's not easy to accept music suggestions from other people.
If I even check out a suggestion, I'm usually too impatient to even listen to the full song, instead I just skip ahead to see if there's anything "there" that I like. If a song doesn't "ring" with me in like 30 seconds, I usually break it off.

Not for intro (I say either stick with Moroder or some Cusco) but I hope this is played as bumpers a lot. Every time I hear it I think Art Bell and Slapshot- which are both awesome and can't be replayed/relistened too over and over and still fun and good!
