That is the thing, Art could make even the most questionable callers/stories interesting... and make people think what if it was real. Dave can't even make pizza rolls without hurting himself.

If it were real, the pilot would have been forced down by fighters and held in custody until the Sheriff arrived to place him under arrest. And frankly, I would say that his odds of disappearing are greater with the Sheriff, who would be highly pissed off about having to get up in the middle of night and drive all the way out there to arrest some fool.

Remember it well .... was running my log loader back in Copper Canyon when it came on..... dark and alone.  Don't know if it was a hoax, but, I wanted to think it was real.  Have seen the Area 51 country on my motorcycle .......

I remember listening that night too.  Hoax or not, it was high drama LIVE radio!  Nothing even close to that on radio now.  C2C might as well tape their shows ahead of time.
