Just for the record, I am elated!  I don't want to spend the money, either, but I will.  I know what it's like to not have enough to spare, though, so I'm very sorry this has worked out to cost some more than they can (or are willing) to spare. 

The good part, though, as kingotnw has just said is that it's almost surely the best way for Art to do what he's best at.  I thought it was going to be Cumulus, and I was concerned that they would ruin it just like Premiere did. 

Art is back! I will start finding reasons to be pissed tomorrow. Art is back. Imma calling George err Dave right now.

Holy sheep shit!    Great news!     My thoughts.  I think as many of us as possible. We should all listen to Coast tonight.  Give the old lady one last spin. Knapps hosting. Give Knapp some ratings recognition. And it would be a fitting tribute to Art. I'm sure he would see it as a big thank you from all of us. Looking forward to the new show!  Can't wait!

This is strange, I moved my only radio to the living room so I could listen to the opening of coast to coast. Normally I don't put it so close to my laptop due to static interference. Either way, that does'n't matter. What matters is I got nothing but advertisements on my station, until eventually it broke in with the regular coast broadcast after the first seven minutes. I completely missed the beginning. Snoory is on folks...Sorry to be the one pissing in the cheerios.

Why is Dave on? I only tuned in because I thought Knapp would be on. I will say that Dave sounds a little less robotic tonight than he does usually. I bet he doesn't have the balls or respect to mention Art until someone forces it in, though I am convinced even if someone snuck their call in, he would simply dump the call and we would never hear any mention of Art. Also, it doesn't matter how driven Dave sounds tonight. He won't be able to help the fact that he is an idiot, and that will appear as soon as he goes off script, as of right now, he's just reading.

Its too bad Knapp didn't take over M-F on C2C. I would be thrilled beyond all belief to have Art's three hour show, a couple hours off, and then C2C with George Knapp.

I'm annoyed at Wells for bringing up that Alex Jones site the other day like it was some big news; Full Spectrum Dominance.

Usually Art only interviewed friends & acquaintances, as well as people he'd met over HAM radio- there's really no telling whom he's met this decade, but we'll probably be hearing them on air.
