Maybe not. Picture this: Our camera opens with a shot of the studio one night, just before airtime. As the shot widens we see a bound and gagged Dave norie lying on the floor facedown with a knot the size of a tomato on the back of his head. Standing over him: Tommy wearing a "I Heart Art" t shirt and holding a blackjack. Dave, semiconscious on the floor, thinking "There's somethink going on!!"

I know what you mean. I'm all the way in Australia and I didn't want to go to sleep last night because it was day time in the US and I was fearing and announcement whilst I slept.

The first thing I did when I woke up was grab my iPhone and refreshed artbell.com and I was actually ecstatic when no announcement had been made so that I could be there live when it does.

I had to deal with my two and 5 year old girls this morning whilst reading through the 5 or 6 pages of posts on this thread. I never let them watch tv in the morning before school and guess what the tv was on so that I could read in peace. I dropped the girls off and headed straight to the office and I have not done a single minute of work today as I've been reading this site and refreshing artbell.com.

The chase has almost been as exciting as any potential announcement. Bring it on Art.

Wild... Reloaded right after posting that and it was back to the former font.  No changes made, just reloaded page.  Did anyone else see this?

do us a solid (in the parlance of our times) and ask him to poke around (if you're able/willing).  if anyone would have access to information, it would be the people in engineering.  they've got to accommodate a guy doing a nationally syndicated radio show from a desert location near dead alien bodies, so there's definitely some engineering involvement there.

That was exactly my thinking, which is why I asked, but unfortunately he didn't know any more. There's one person higher up the ladder than him, but from what I know about operations around that place, the people behind the curtain play things VERY close to the vest. When they rolled out "NASH FM", no one, not even the local engineers, knew what the format was until the day it was officially announced.

Got a hit! Just talked to KKSF (C2C's affiliate in San Fransisco) and someone who wasn't supposed to be answering the phone answered. I asked her if they were carrying Art's new show and she said "Ummm.." for about 20 seconds and then asked me to hold on. After about 2 minutes I got disconnected. I called back and she answered and apologized saying she doesn't usually use the phone system and hung up on me by mistake. I asked her what she found out and she said "It's possible (with this tone that sounded like a yes)... but it hasn't been officially announced yet", then she started laughing because I made a joke about "I see how it is" since she seemed nice and in a really good mood. I don't live in SF, but I was calling large market stations in the Pacific time zone since they are the only ones still open. Lots of folks told me to call back tomorrow at 9am tomorrow from other stations, but this girl clearly didn't care if she wasn't supposed to say anything or not.

Could've been just some dumb intern. KSF is a ClearChannel station. I highly doubt they'll carry a competing product.

I'm not sure that enough analysis has been done over the title of the last song that Art linked to, 'Right Back Where We Started From.'  I think it could be a clue to mean that Art is going back to what he did before c2c even.  Didn't he used to have some local Las Vegas radio show "before"?

Okay, good to have that confirmed. They must have been in the midst of editing the page, and I caught it when a font tag was awry.  The font was only different for a single reload.
