You know why they call bigfoot,"bigfoot"?

Oh boy, tonight we get the souths bigfoot, the Fouke Monster.Of course it`s an interdemensional being because THERE IS NO PHYSICAL PROOF.Ever notice that with the progress of technology the answer for UFO`s and bigfeet etc. is that they don`t leave evidence because they`re from other demensions via some portal.Like the old churchlady used to say.."How convenient!".
Portals? Can angels be far behind?  WARNING!  Another Mushmouth suckfest ahead!

You know why they call bigfoot,"bigfoot"?
Answer: Who would be afraid of "Bigshoe"?

You`re  right, it`s hard to find George in Shakespeare. The villains are much too clever for Noory and the buffoons speak better English. However, you can find George all over Mel Brooks movies.

George could be Nick Bottom but one would have to use the opposite end of the donkey to place on Jorch's neck.

So far it is just a weird, weird show. Like a very lame birthday party of older people, most a bit batty. Like some tired, old people on New Years eve in a fake-wood paneled basement drinking cheap champagne out of those two-piece, plastic champagne glasses with ancient "Happy New Years" banner brought out of a box in the attic. And everyone leaves, or is asleep, by 9:30. Or like those sad holiday celebrations at some nursing home of sadly forgotten oldsters in the Midwest where the staff dresses up some poor, drooling soul in a wheelchair in a birthday hat so that the son in LA who is paying money for the facility can get a message with the bill that his dad had a nice birthday celebration.

A very apt analogy.

Since Fanthorpe mentioned Shakespeare, I'll toss this out to everyone. If George Noory was a Shakespearean character, who would he be?...

The reason truth is stranger than fiction is because fiction has to make sense, the characters believable.

There couldn't really be a fictional Noory character.

...Maybe he whacked goatsy.

How can this not make the top-right quote.  I ask you.  Seriously.

Birdie

I couldn't take it anymore last night and had to turn off the radio. That may have been the biggest pile of suckage, ever, on C2C. That is a bold statement, but I cannot think of one other show that was worse. It wasn't even a sucks-so-bad-it-is-amusing kind of suck. The first guest was talking so much bullshit, he was nearly incomprehensible. Then the Numbers Lady... and I'm out.

What grown man sings 'Happy Birthday' to another grown man? I'm so sure it was a spontaneous gesture. *snort*

Jackstar

Welcome, Birdie, welcome... to Flavour Country.

Numfar! Do the Dance of Expatriation!

There was a series of suckfests, near the end of 2012 I believe, maybe the New Years shows - the level of suckness of which inspired me to join this board to try and process it all.  Those come close.  It's a hard call.

Supernatural, Cryptids, & Psychic Work
Thu 06-05
Psychic medium Darrin Owens will discuss his lifetime of work with the paranormal and supernatural. He'll cover his experiences with the South's Bigfoot, the Fouke Monster, and why he believes these creatures are interdimensional, as well as flesh and blood. He'll also address many aspects of the supernatural including his work performing exorcisms, and releasing spirit attachments.

Imagine you, like me, were looking forward to hearing about bigfoot and Fouke monsters, and so you turned on C2C tonight for the first time in quite a while.

Instead, I'm hearing for the thousandth time that all I have to do is meditate and I, too, can be as great as people like Jorch. (If I throw away my pills, that is.)

Damn this show!  :P  GNS

1. Most humans dream.

2. Dreams are another dimension.

3. Humans are interdimensional beings. Quot erat demonstratum. NOBEL PRIZE, PLEASE.

I can't stand this guy.  If he ever had to deal personally with real, crushing depression, he'd be poppin' pills like a friggin' madman.

Even tonight the guests are still wishing Noory a happy birthday and Noory sucks it all in, loving the extra attention. Yuck... :P

Jackstar

Oh shits! That reminds me, tonight is the last night of my birthday month! I'm going to plug this Nobel Prize right up my pooper, woot!

Thanks, y'all, it's been really special, I mean that sincerely!  :-*

I'd say that this kid is Van Praagh's love child but we all know that's highly unlikely.  I wonder if Owens and Van Praagh have ever hooked up?  George just cued up some Elton John bumper music.  ::)  Mind you, I love his music but it seems a rather obvious choice.

Now, they're talking about dancing with fairies.

When you stay away too long you often suffer from unreasonable expectations...

Well, the Goldfinger theme is a good bumper.  And it sure is better than the schmaltz he usually plays though I'm trying to figure how it is applicable to the theme tonight.  It probably doesn't.  I wish they would play songs appropriate to the topic.  I'd have a blast doing that if it was my show.

Alas, you have named the error of my ways. Damned if I do, and damned if I don't.  ::)

The show did switch after the first (unlisted) guest.  I'm still waiting for my Bigfoot/monster fix, though.  George has taken the 2nd guest down into his own little pool of angst. Some things never change.  :-\

No wonder this guys exorcisms were so weak.  He only does it over the phone and at media appearances.  I'm sorry, if I'm possessed, I probably won't call this guy on the phone and ask him to perform an exorcism over the line.  I'm not buying what this guy is selling.

Guest was somewhat New Age but not as bad as some.  Still I think he acted like he knew a lot more than he actually does.  Of course, that's nothing new to Coast.  Bruce Goldberg and Steve Quayle come to mind. ::)
