Big affiliates like megastation WABC in NY that picked up Art have long since dropped Noory, although he likes to pretend otherwise.

I don't think sNoory had anything to do with that.  All of the Cheap Channel shows are off WABC and most of the other Cumulus stations.  It was a corporate thing.

It's about time for Jorch to quit doing his 1st Sunday show.  It's bad enough that he doesn't know how to accent the show during the week with his buffer music selections but he adds the indignity of the submerging artists on the Sunday show.  Also, one would think that since the Sunday show is a "spechial, clashek" show, he would be prepared and excited for the interview, instead it's the same distracted Jorch with scripted questions that WILL be asked, even if they have already been answered.  It's time to wind down, Jorchie.

I disagree. Stop comparing them. Under Hitler's National Socialist German Workers' Party regime George's mustache would've been a crime against the state because it out does Der Fuehrer's, and he'd been worked to death. Under Pol Pot's CPK, as crazy as it was, George would be considered an intellectual (that tells you how crazy they were!) and likewise sent to a camp for re-education and, likely, death. He doesn't deserve those options. Nobody does.

UNSCREENED open lines, that is.  It appears Noory has 'open lines' screened only to allow only callers that are deemed pro-Noory.

The guy works off of cue cards.  He can barely read copy in front of him when presenting the 'news' at the opening of the show.
To have him respond to 'tough' unscripted comment would find GN lost for a thought or words. 


A great features of Art Bell's hosting was his answering and conversations with off-the-wall unscreened callers with aplomb;  J.C. included.

Noory doesn't have the imagination nor skills to do so.  All he has is what he has on paper in front of him and saying again he can't even deliver on that.

I shrugged and I answered, "If your kid had his shots, than why is he getting sick?  Isn't he immune now that he's been immunized?"  (And by the way, my kids have had the shots for the UCD's.)

Very true. I had chickenpox twice, once as a child and once as an adult. When I had them the second time, I sincerely wanted to die they were so horrible, and I'm lucky they didn't go down my throat. I really wish people who think childhood diseases were harmless would pull their heads out and do research into childhood and adult deaths due to secondary infections. I also found, when I was pregnant, that I'd lost immunity to measles and had the MMR booster after my son was born. And in my school, unvaccinated students are turned away for everyone's protection, and not just the young but people with compromised immune systems or the elderly who may not be able to fight off an infection. I've taught kids on Prednisone for liver transplants. The very last thing they need are a bout with a *harmless* childhood disease.

I am not suggesting you are directly responsible for this outbreak, Mr. Noory.   However, you brag about being heard on 570 radio stations.  And, from time to time, you tell your listeners that vaccines are bad, that you don't believe in them.  Anyone who listens to open lines is painfully aware that a significant portion of your listeners aren't very bright.  And when you tell them vaccines are bad they believe you.  They don't have themselves vaccinated.  They don't have their children vaccinated. 

You are not qualified to dispense medical advice, GEORGE.  You're dispensing QUACKERY.   When people believe you and follow your advice it could potentially lead to great harm.  Here's some good advice.  Why don't you retire and let a responsible person take over what's left of Art's show?  Someone who is responsible and won't dispense advice he's not qualified to give?

You would be doing America and the world a huge favor.
