I wonder how much Jorch & the C2C staff read this board.
Not nearly as much as we think. A couple dozen posters ragging about Noory et al on Coast Gab probably means very little to them considering the overall size of the C2C audience.  We participants tend to have IGS (Internet Grandiosity Syndrome) and tell ourselves otherwise.

I have to wonder about the number.  For instance, in my town, the AM station does not cover the entire market, so they simulcast the AM signal on FM.  Yesterday, they switched the FM signal from a 50-kw station to a 100-kw station.  But during the month, to give people a chance to get used to the change, the show is carried on BOTH FM stations.  Thus, in my market Coast is on 3 stations for the time being.

Vancouver, Canada .... CKNW 980 .... Coast to Coast AM .... starts at 1:00am and runs until 5:00am.  The last hour is a re-run of the first hour.   C2C is aired in a audio 'dead-zone' here.  It wouldn't matter much if Daffy Duck was singing cover tunes of Tiny Tim in this time slot.  Noory, Premiere Radio, just aren't relevant anymore.  CKNW probably subscribes to C2C because the show is cheap, and they don't have to present much of anything in that dead-zone time slot.  Noory flapping off about all the stations that carry C2C .... who cares.

I'm guessing Noory gave up after threatening Fantastic Forum with legal action a few years ago.  If I were him I would have decided my best course of action would be to avoid reading the sorts of comments we post.  Reading stuff like this everyday about yourself could emotionally cripple a person.

I'm in that market too.  I think before they had Coast to Coast they just aired old 1940's radio serials in that slot (I may be getting mixed up with another station).  During that timeframe Art Bell was on 1410 for the full four (or sometimes five) hours.  I've had to find alternative streams on the internet since I've started listening again -- usually KIRO in Seattle or CJAD in Montreal.  Many of the American affiliates won't play without a proxy and there aren't very many Canadian stations that carry it at the regular time (at least not here in the West where it starts at 10 pm).

C2C is not on in Chicago at all anymore on WLS or any where here on terrestrial radio.
That is a large market Art had covered 5 hours a night for years. Now it is a C2C-free zone.

It's really hard to know.  We do know that he mentions 'the haters' frequently, and specifically mentions the internet as opposed to email, letters and phone calls.  Someone recently posted that he mentioned photoshopped pictures of him were online.

We also have a pretty good idea he doesn't do much actual work during the day, maybe a couple of meetings, some voice overs, sifting through a bunch of paperwork.  I sent some emails to him the past month or so and got responses - he must spend considerable time reading email.

If I had to guess, I'd say he reads here in streaks, gets agitated, stops for awhile, then just can't help himself and comes back to read a little again.  Who really knows though.

I find it ironic that we obsess over the daily routine of a man most in this forum consider to be an utterly incompetent idiot.  ;D

It's kind of like an alienated listener support group, though it is pretty insane.

At least I can admire that he takes the time to go through his emails.

I wonder if Billy could wish Jorch into a cornfield.  ;)   Tommy would have to be there, too, of course, as Jorch's caretaker.  He should be pretty happy having a full field to graze on.

If he could, the phrase from that TZ episode would still be appropriate because George, as a jack-in-the-box would still have "his same bad face."

Roy Hinkley

Tonight's main guest sounds like he may have consumed a few too many mushroom teas in his college days:

"we can create not just honeymoon relationships for couples but also a "super organism" called humanity that can heal our planet."

hey somebody was talking about the stations that currently run the piece of shit that is C2C, (i still average most nights a week tho), and I was curious if any stations other than KFI in LA run an immediate rebroadcast of the show...?

I listen on 1190 KEX in Portland, Oregon.  It runs live from 10 PM to 2 AM, and then repeats the first three hours from 2 AM until 5 AM, when the local morning shows come on the air.

KIRO in Seattle repeats the first 2 hours immediately following the show, I believe.

Obsess is a strong word. I cannot listen to someone like Limbaugh or Hannity without wanting to break shit.

Norry is my source for recreational anger. I get irritated with him, but other than medical subjects, he is a mostly-benign fool.

The way he repeats stories about himself and tries so hard to impress... I feel deep down, he is probably very insecure.

I have no doubt he reads these forums like someone that compulsively picks at a scab.

ziznak

Im not sure if kfi repeats the whole show.... im usually not awake for it though so I can't confirm.

wow - Snoorey is interviewing the honeymoon dotor and totally keeps steering the interview toward his career and how does he know when the "thrill is gone"?

He's asking stuff like "How do you get out when the honeymoon is over?"

Duh.  Leave.  Hand the show over to someone who is enthusiastic.

Good old numbnuts does it again.

I thought Bruce Lipton was cool.  I liked his description of how bacteria evolved to form cells, and later in the interview he explained the "memory" of cells by equating it to magnetic fields and metal filings, "our biology is the compliment of the field."  The field of consciousness.  Whenever there's a guest on with energy and ideas I'm reminded of a two dimensional being attempting to interview and understand a being from the third dimension, the best George can do is keep his nose to the index cards and feign enthusiasm right before a commercial break.  Sad.  And sad is also the renown Rodger Leir, who sounds so tired and has devoted so many years to his chicanery.  I was watching some of George's "Live Chat" videos on the c2c website.  Really creepy stuff.

So did George buy some of the shirts Charlie Sheen wore on Two & A Half Men?  Maybe he went to Warner Brothers' garage sale.

Bruce Lipton tells us how our body releases chemicals that induce feelings of happiness and actual success. Do it all the time and hang each night in rapture. So 3 hours of "believe and achieve." Well now you see what you wanna be, hormones and the mystical conscious force will make it all true. Whatever. Don't strain your brain. Maybe that positive thinking can help first hour guest Roger Leir, who sounds like his health is failing him. Leir is still doing the alien implant thing. He is out at night removing homing beacons, implants too, mind control chips and Subarus.
But mostly he was here to peddle a UFO conference set up as a mock congressional hearing. Senators and congressman that sat in the session earned $20,000 per day. Rapture, be pure.

"Twenty-four hour shopping in rapture"

I've been skipping the show... seems like a steaming stream of hippy shit lately.

No station in my area does an immediate rebroadcast of C2C although the ones that carry C2C used to do a rebroadcast of the previous night's show, prior to that night's C2C broadcast.  Not anymore, though.  That slot has now been taken over by Clyde Lewis and "Ground Zero."  I've wondered if that was just another sign of the coming demise of C2C.

Yes, that striped shirt is "very slimming." ;)   Jorch, however, looks like one of the cast from "Invasion of the Neptune Men."

Tinfoil Hat

Thanks for those shots, Valdez. Wow does George ever have a bad toupee. That explains the Kiwi shoe polish dye he uses.

yeah, Noory seemed obsessed and worried about his career...

Hey Noary, you classless shitass. Go fuck yourself while Art bukkake's your Mom!
Piece of no talent shit.

Is this what it is like to watch someone having a stroke?

Edited to add:
Is that a Quiji board and a box of rubbers in the background?
