The first guest...Defense journalist Sean Naylor...has handled himself well and I find him interesting.  He's politely brushed off Noory's dumb questions and carried on.  Of course, at first, Noory just had to bring up his Navy service.  ::)  The guest was polite but I sensed he could give a shit.  ;D

Just listened to that show, great guest.  I wouldn't say George's questions were necessarily dumb, but certainly the timing and nature of some of them were out of sync and/or not value added at the point they were asked. Maybe he dropped his stack of 3x5 cards and got the questions out of order.

More interesting to me were the conspiracy callers, especially the guy late in the segment who launched into the Illuminati schtick.  Naylor seemed perplexed when the caller told him he needed to do a little research before writing a book.  I would have loved to have heard Naylor's comments to his agent after the show about the C2C booking.  I'd be willing to bet the guest had never heard of C2C or Noory when he was given/accepted the gig.  Doubt we'll hear him on C2C again.

Tommy wanted to play a game of 52 pickup but all that was available were the cards for the show.

Just checked it out Duke.   I think you are correct in the statement that Naylor's Coast days are over.  I am going to have to look for a Naylor
interview with a non-Noory host.

Edit.  Wow - Streiber was on next.  What a weird guest combo!

About halfway through the VR guest interview, George asks from probable card #1: "So which areas do you see virtual reality affecting?"  This of course is exactly what they'd been discussing already for the better part of an hour.

So the guest, after one of those classic "wtf pauses", gracefully counters with "Hmm, well we've already discussed its applications in aviation, medicine, and the military ... but we haven't yet discussed the field of education...so let me give you a couple examples."

No, that sounds like they were in the right order.

Yeah Batchelor would be ideal.  I don't see him asking "Sean, Do they snipers?"

Ha!  "Field of education."   The guest should have specifically mentioned "for the mentally challenged."

Tommy usually makes George take his pants off when he wants to play 52 Card pickup.

It's time for a major shakeup at Coast.  Let's divide it into two separate shows.  The first three hours would be given to Richard Syrett or Dave Schrader and would be true to the original Coast format and audience.

The last hour would be a separate show, and it would be "The Norry Info Hour". He and Doc Wallet could have their critical health news every night and  if that needs a break, then you could have Liver Exposes",  Anal Exposes" and so forth.

I heard a little of Schrader last night and he sounded pretty good with his guest.  Some intelligent exchanges with Kenneth Johnson.  I know, what a concept.  ;)  It was interesting to learn Johnson pretty much demanded Bill Bixby for "The Incredible Hulk."  I've never been much into the whole world of super heroes but I'll admit Bixby was great in The Hulk.  His presence really added some intelligence and talent to the show, especially when the special effects of the time couldn't utilize CGI to take over everything, like it does today.

I like your idea for the C2C "shake-up," but without the last hour.

Wow. It didn't take but a few minutes on Thursday to discard George Noory as even being competent, let alone informed.

He begins the show by mispronouncing Massachusetts, then goes into his "Protect The Grid" nonsense by describing something called "mulware." Excuse me, I think it's "malware," George. Something for you to "mull" over if and when you get your act in gear. A day that will never come.

All Noory did was go around yelling "Protect The Grid" without having any effective plan on how to do so. Some of us, George, said even 14 or so years ago that the real threat to our electrical grid will come through computer hacking. But all you did, George, was wield some ludicrous scenario about nuclear weapons used for an EMP attack and then the "Solar Flare" far-fetched scenario. Da?

Noory, why would some group or foreign power invest in the huge task, logistics, intensive effort and untold manpower of employing a nuclear weapon when in all reason all it takes is for one or even a few people to sit behind a computer and hack into systems that way?

What a dunce. Noory doesn't even see the obvious because he is too busy being a genius above all of us mere, dumb mortals. Remember how he harks on-and-on every time a "Star Wars" movie is brought up -- because Noory only watches fictional works to obtain his information.

He feels there is some "hidden meaning" as to why the characters and their societies are so advanced, but live in very simple housing and structures. Noory has theorized that could be a telling point -- as civilizations advance, their dwellings and structures become primitive. Then Noory acts like he is "on to something" few see.

Um, Noory, who is some Hollywood hanger-on who fails to grasp one iota of the business. George, it's called a "film's budget." That's right, George. The reason the structures and such are simple is because the filmmakers have already expended funds in casting and special effects. Um, the purpose of a motion picture, George, is to...MAKE MONEY. Not lose it.

Da? Yes, George, have them build huge, extensive and costly futuristic settings and then check how much that costs. To Noory, that matters not. That fool would spend 20 times what the film would net and bankrupt a studio n his first attempt. To which he would reply, "Oh, well," and just walk away. What a putz. If you think Hollywood standards are low, just know Noory isn't even on the same level as the worst you find there.

Noory is the type of buffoon that would produce some film, for example, that calls for a 10-minute scene in lower Manhattan, New York. Noory, being the wise one and visionary he is, would have the crew construct an exact replica of lower Manhattan to do the scene. Remember, expense is NO OBJECT to this buffoon.

Before sending the motion picture into massive failure for overspending and only recovering a fraction of what it invested, Noory would be asked later why he just didn't get the film commission of the City Of New York to allow his crew to...to....film in lower Manhattan! That would save a few hundred million dollars over replicating that part of the city on some lot, huh? To which Noory would no doubt reply: "You know, I never thought of that."

Like we won't see that coming? Dunce. Dunce Noory never ceases to disappoint so many of us.

Some of us who care for real can't, at times, feel sympathy for that pathetic George Noory. One scam after another inflicted on hapless "true believers," and that indicates just who and what he is. Some of us are glad for our lives being real and true -- compared to that guy. Sad sack, all. Very sad.

I bet that "Lunch With George" series is a prime example. How sad. Suckering fools into paying for his meals and the deadbeats he brings along. No doubt, with Noory choosing the New York Strip and lobster and having his people ensure some sucker paid up front for "the honor" of being around "The self-professed anointed one."

First, "Coast To Coast AM" in its publicity didn't get the name of the Sherman Oaks restaurant correct. Fail. It's not "the Great Greek," but "The Great Greek," with the "The" uppercase and a part of its name. Second, this is no doubt a sad attempt by Noory to prove his worth among the celebrities who patronize that restaurant.

That's right. Poor Noory may think by having some "fans" around him that means he is a celebrity, too. What a pathetic lot. From what I've heard over the years, Noory has no idea the "accepted way" of conducting yourself in Los Angeles. George, these celebrities live reclusive lives for a reason: They get tired of obsessed fans bothering them. Like you. When they dare go to such restaurants, they know that those who know won't bother them or address them as some equal. Give them that peace and respect.

But how often we heard Noory claiming "he ran into" such and such celebrity. More at hanging out in some place they frequent and imposing his fool self on them. Hey, Noory, there are rules. The first is leave them alone. If you have anything to say, then you contact their agent and don't "go up to them" when they are dining, or having your producer "scout them out" when he sees a male celebrity go the restroom.

Then comes Noory's chance to ambush some guy at the urinals with his blabbering speech about his "ideas" and how he is one of them. I bet a few of the celebrities pinned down in the restroom might have thought of pissing on that vulture loser hanging out, imposing himself and bothering the heck out of them.

Yes, this  "Lunch With George" series sounds like a sucker bit. A big sucker bit. For the suckers who pay for it and how desperate Noory is to be seen by celebrities as "mattering" that he would have some ridiculous "fan club" event that no doubt, real celebrities at that place can't help but laugh the heck off.

Remember a few years ago, when Noory had this guest on that wrote some novel. Then when Noory asked how far that work would go, the humble author stated that he was contacted by the agent of the actor George Clooney. Who apparently read that novel, then told his agent to contact the author to negotiate it being turned into a major-motion picture.

"Huh," Noory exclaimed. Not knowing that you don't contact them, but they contact you. Da? Is that the way it works? I can just see the sad sack George Noory carrying around paperback versions of his ghostwritten "Night Talk" novel and trying to shove them into the faces of every actor or actress he ambushes in public or at these eateries. Insisting 'they" need to make a movie from it. But the more he does that, the more defeating he becomes.

Again, a putz and a putz-and-a-half. Among the laughing stocks of Hollywood hangers-on. Noory thinks just because someone says so much as "Hello" to him or is fool enough to come on his program that gives him the right to claim that person as "a close friend" and then bother the crap out of him. Note when one such celebrity appears on Noory's show, he or she rarely returns. Wonder why?

Maybe because they gave out their private number for that appearance and learned later that maybe Noory calls them on his own to want to "hook up" and make some event or pictures he'll post online to "prove" he is one of them. What a sad sack.

Then comes the Noory "if it's being made into a motion picture," then he invites himself and producer Tom Danheiser to attend the Hollywood Premiere and the "Red Carpet" event. What a hanger on.

Making the guest so uncomfortable. He only agreed to be on this talk-radio show -- then finds the host and his minions insisting they'll "be there" for no reason and make fools of him as these sad sacks attempt to "mingle among the stars" by riding the coattails of "some person who did when they didn't."

Remember this "jewel," all, from a few years ago. George Noory goes on some idiotic rant about nuclear weapons or solar flares taking out the grid. Never having the wits to realize that computer hacking is far easier and that never occurred to him, obviously.

What is more disturbing is Noory's appearance on the program. He always warns about "those out there out to fool you," but I think I see a bad toupee trying to emulate real hair. And worse, what appears to be a "magic marker" drawn-on mustache. From the time he claimed he "accidentally" shaved off his real one -- give me a break -- and went around with some "drawn-on one" until it grew back.

What a putz. It's bad enough just to hear Noory, let alone see him. Especially with the bad rug, the glue seeping out and what appears to be some really tacky fake mustache that makes the guy look like the loser and you-know-what that he is.

HWGA, I think you have enough material to write the "George Noory: The Unauthorized Biography." If one were written, I would certainly read it.  Gather up all the news clippings, yearbooks, military service records, court records, comments from co-workers from his days as the Night Hawk, etc. I find it fascinating how someone who is very average and below average in some areas can still become a success with simply a superficial charm and a good radio voice (even if he mispronounces a word almost every sentence).

Bring certain questions to the table such as whether he really is interested or believes in the paranormal. I'm sure some of the scenes from various conferences after hours would be very entertaining, especially if they were told from non-fans or neutral parties. Did he really write any of his own books? The whole Gaiam-TV behind the scenes would have many nuggets as well, probably right up to the fringes of the intelligence community.

I like the way Corsi pretended not to know about Noory's upcoming book even though he's mentioned it on previous programs with Corsi.   ::)

Noory really is full of himself.

Here's an excerpt from Amazon.

People are stressed because they don’t know where the world is heading or where it is taking them. With a radio show heard by millions, I consider myself not an entertainer or someone to dictate how we should live, but a facilitator who can help guide the path chosen.

I have been called a voice in the darkness. The concepts I deal with are not only on the cutting edge of science and technology, but with subjects as provocative as aliens and angels, as challenging as supervolcanos and the fire and brimstone of the End Time.

Join me by reading why I am mad . . . and maybe you will get as angry as I am about conditions in the country we love.

No I'm not (Redacted) who was wishing Dafe death, I like to wish him something very enjoyable.
His karayokii tours will be over, first problem will be Airport security never mind standing on the stage.
Second, sitting in the chair for 4 hours with full hard-on will make his dick head to explode for sure, blood will gush all over the soundboard, remember that apparently he has 12"uncut Egyptian cock so you know the "pressure in the vessel" will be uggge

Let's put our minds togheter and wish Dafe non-stop hard-on.
He doesn't need blood in his head anywayz, there is nothing there to nourish so might as well his dick get's some bloody action...
