I see.  I wonder if relocating was considered.  Needs gated property.  Was this the timeframe when Art did not want mention, but GN kept crediting him at shows end.

No. I believe Art asked him to stop mentioning him back around 2012 or 2013 before he did his short stint at Sirius.

From the pictures and drone footage that Art has posted, I believe his property has a chain link fence and a gate. Major Ed Dames is supposed to deliver a box of gold to the front gate some day.

Even more troublesome are the routine abductions and violations of Whitley Streiber.  These brave men have put themselves in harm's way and suffered a great deal to bring us information on topics that certain forces would prefer remain hidden.

Very true.  Streiber didn't up and quit writing due to his stalkers and abductions.  Hell, he wrote books, went on radio and TV, and supported a movie about it.  My hero.  Swoon.

Had anyone mentioned greys before Strieber? Everything I have refers to little green men or reptillians.

Bud Hopkins I believe used the term.  It looks like it may have come-up during the Betty and Barney Hill experience, too.

The Bud Hopkins reference comes after Striebers Communion.  I have a copy of the original Betty and Barney Hill article.  I'll have to see if it mentions greys - I don't remember it doing so.

Bud Hopkins' Missing Time came out in 81 - I'll check to see what he called them. Betty Hill's grey was a "green" and had pupils in the eyes and a more human face.

Communion was released in 84 with the grey face but with more slanted eyes and peachy skin color.

The Zeta Reticulan grey as we think of them now entered the public awareness in the 87-89 timeframe with the UFO Coverup:Live TV Show and Bill Cooper's revelations published in Linda Howe's An Alien Harvest in 1989.  Missing Time was released as a paperback with the "Classic Grey" on the cover in 1988.

As for fictitious ETs with some of these characteristics including a mechanical sounding telepathy, check out the Lost in Space episode "Invaders from the Fifth Dimension" (1965)

The first reports of abduction described during the 80s and 90s go back to accounts as early as the late 50s.

The "Zeta" grey is a result of Marjorie Fish's work on the Hill case and the famous star map in 1969.  However this is easy to debunk. Interesting though that Bill Cooper claims he saw it in the alleged Project Blue Book Report#13! Of course, Nancy Leider (Zetatalk) and others ran with this. Depending on whose disinfo you give the most credibility the originate on the Moon, Jupiter, another dimension, "all the points in space and all the places in between", Orion, the planet Banlon and of course, Zeta Reticuli.

Tedious indeed, but there's a lesson in all this.

Just checked the text of both Communion and Missing Time. Neither has any form of "Grey" and "alien." Although Strieber calls them at one point "grey creatures" and also they had "grey, humanoid faces."
Missing Time describes grey skin color but they are more often referred to as "persons" or "abductors." "Alien" is mostly used hypothetically or rhetorically.

A few months back my fave podcaster, Duncan Trussell, http://www.duncantrussell.com, interviewed Noory. Last weekend I had the pleasure of hanging out with Duncan. I brought up the subject of Noory and he was like "Dude what the hell? After that interview I got hella email about Noory sucks!"  And so it was that I had the pleasure of explaining to my new friend the ins and outs of this, the most awesome forum thread ever to live on the interweb. Good times!

I can't think of a better GNS ambassador.  Good work sir.

Pretty good whack-a-doodle guest here in the second half.  Something about cave crystals and giants.

Sliding in for the last hour to hear the guest.
This gemologist is pretty good. Dave is an idiot.
I give Leela a shit-ton of credit for ignoring Dave's stupidity in the questions he asks.
That dumb-ass sure knows how to ruin what would be an otherwise good show.  >:(

Apparently, Betty and Barney also said they were grey.  It is an interesting question.  Who first referred to aliens as "The Greys?"  Maybe it was Strieber but I'd swear I heard the term used before him.

QuoteIn the 1893 article "Man of the Year Million", the well-known author H.G. Wells had envisioned the possibility of humanity transformed into a race of grey-skinned beings; who were perhaps 1 meter tall, with big heads and large, oval-shaped pitch black eyes. In his 1901 book The First Men in the Moon, Wells described Selenites (natives of the Moon) as having grey skin, big heads, and large black eyes. He also briefly describes aliens resembling Greys brought down to Earth as food for the Martians, who were the antagonist characters in his 1898 novel The War of the Worlds.

There may be alien life out there in the Universe, they may even have visited this planet at some point but I'm sure that not one person in the UFO/ET scene that Coast2Coast is part of knows anything about it and those who've had 'experiences' are either impressionable dreamers, crackpots and/or hucksters.

But everyone knows Wells was a contactee and channeled all his books via Valiant Thor. When H.G. left this Earth, he literally left this Earth and now enjoys a comfortable and immortal life with the Pleiadians

Do you think I can get a guest gig on C2C? Even though everyone also knows GNS?

I saw that, too, about H.G. having described his aliens as having grey skin.  I'm just curious who first started using the term "The Greys" as a supposed type of alien and when it entered the lexicon of Ufology.  It's most likely one of the typical "crackpots," Streiber, Icke, etc.  What, you mean the C2C guests aren't credible?  When did this happen?  I am shocked!  ;) ;D

You are likely to get blown away following Falkie.  He's a tough act to follow.  Especially after mostly-frozen semi-cooked poultry.
