  Funny enough, in that multitudinous barrage of Nixon tapes/transcripts, Nixon was wondering aloud in 1970 to Haldeman about whether young Panetta was a member of the tribe. Particularly how he looked like one of "Henry's crowd". It's worth noting that Panetta was out of Nixon's administration within months.

Yeah, at first I thought maybe he was a stalking horse for Billary but now I'm not so sure. He definitely is too liberal for me on many issues like immigration. But I like the way he is shaking up the ingrained two-party system, embarrassing politicians (I buy you guys,) and making debates a little bit more fun. But I'm guessing Trump is in it for Trump but at least you know that, instead of pretenders who claim to care about the people and "little guy."

Re: making Mexico pay. I think it would be better argued that we would pay for it from the money saved from the cost of immigration. Though I would also take away foreign aide, humanitarian aide, and military aide from the countries who send the migrants. That alone could pay for the wall. (And we wouldn't need a wall across the whole of the border we could use other technology and, ideally corrupt countries, like Mexico, would get their house in order and people wouldn't flee.) Particularly if there were more severe criminal, and civil, penalties for any business, organization, or person aiding, abetting, or hiring illegals. Many would self-deport if they couldn't find sanctuary or jobs. And the country of origin of the countless illegals we have in our prison system at the State and Federal level (for DUIs, rapes, murders, running drugs, etc) should be billed for their imprisonment- again by withholding aide, a levy against any capital transfer from the US to that country, or even freezing a portion of the money they have in US banks and US Reserve banks.

Spot on.  I am no great fan of DWS, especially the heavy handed Clintonista crap she's pulling about "debate exclusivity".  Her mission is to get Hitlery elected, the party and the people be damned.

You watch the luke warm, half assed, half hearted "support" she give Sanders/Warren when they win the primaries.  In fact, I bet you see her open up all sorts of half baked "prerogative of the chair" rules to allow the Clintonistas to try to steal the nomination at the convention.  Pigs.

Jews have an odd situation in which they can claim "it a religion" during some circumstances or debates, "it is a race or ethnic group" in other cases, an "it is both," and, lastly, it is a "nation citizen status." Arguably anti-Semitic should refer to all Semitic people, not all of whom are Jewish but that term, now, is used exclusively to apply to Jews. Although not all Jews are even Semitic! So the claim that "Jew is a race" is bogus but still claimed by some. I know some who claim only if your mother was Jewish (and so-on down the years) can one really be Jewish (but maybe Jewish as in the racial component?) But I think only the more Orthodox claim this. I think the reason the Hispanics and leftists are mad about it is because of the maid for his anecdote at the country club. Actually if I were Hispanic I would be critical of how everyone, especially Democrats and apologists for illegals, think the only jobs Hispanics have are maids and manual laborers. There are, believe it or not, lawyers, doctors, teachers, engineers, etc who are Hispanic (though those, usually, are not illegals.)

I think Kasich has a chance only because he seems like the only candidate that has a shred of humanity. Fiorini just looks like she's waiting to bite someone's head off. Kasich's record in Ohio is defensible too. Things have turned around.

Is it a strange one. One won't even have debates and have, apparently, picked the nominee and other has so many but has turned into some reality tv show.
But I don't trust polls, for the most part. If not outright faked by their methods or criteria at least manipulated before hand by same. Many are still relying on out-dated technology and even people that have landlines usually screen callers. So those that choose to participate, likely, are already committed or motivated by some issue/candidate. But others, undecideds, those without landlines, those working and not home during the day, those who screen/block unknown numbers, etc?

I agree, Albrecht, that polls can be skewed/poorly designed, but a statistical zero can't be ignored.  Walker's personality is a statistical zero.  Even if you bundled all those polling at 0-2%, you won't see too much shifting at the top.  It will be when those polling at 3-8% begin to drop out that a true Repub frontrunner will emerge.  That person may still be Trumpy.

Yes, and yes, though the percentage of Muslim in America is pretty small we can see from current politics or popular culture this means nothing (homosexuals and other various BLT sub-groups are, according to the CDC survey- under Obama so can't blame others- <3% of the general population.) Muslims, ignoring the recent immigrants and illegals coming, <3million according to Pew-Templton surveys. Though admittedly both sources are questionable to a point. But Muslims are not a huge percentage of population; neither are LBTs etc. This doesn't mean they, or their champions, have influence however.

But, yes, to your other questions though most successful surgeons (and other) people I know don't watch much tv. And the "clock" was not what most, at least initially, think a "clock" is and why having it beep in class. Sorry, but if I was an English teacher and some Muslim kid with that name is acting suspiciously and has a device of wires and circuitry hidden in a backpack that starts beeping...I would ask some questions, at least!

I think the Muslim kid got treated harshly. The clock he brought to school did look ridiculous, but taking him to jail in handcuffs was a serious WTF for anyone I would think. But the liberal circle jerk was so disproportionate that it was sickening. White kids get suspended over stupid shit constantly yet these hypocrites don't have a righteous indignation orgasm over those incidents.

And yes, even though Muslims are a small percentage of the American population, you have to factor all the guilty white liberals who feel it's their job to babysit minorities. Plus this guy couldn't have said this at a worse possible time. Also, I think it's wrong to be prejudicial or generalize a group of people like that but mainly I'm just horrified because it shows Ben Carson is either very stupid or very unworldly.

I AM an English instructor (jc) and was in LE for 13 years.  I'd be suspicious REGARDLESS of the student's race/religion.  However, having ascertained the device was not a bomb, why was the kid suspended?  He sounds very bright.  I hope that intelligence is nurtured.
