This is annoying the crap out of me... I have Dark Matter radio playing in background while I sleep (discomfort is constantly waking me up and it helps me to relax again) Saturday night, I woke up and listened to some network show that was interviewing Preston Dennett. While listening, Preston began recounting the incident I had at Edwards AFB that was shared with him via email after I called one of the networks shows he was on. Now, being groggy, I failed to emerge from my nice warm cocoon to see what show he was on... With so many repeats on at any given time, I am hoping someone can tell me on what recent show this happened... driving me nuts... Not sure of the time, except it was dark and early in the morning? late at night? shit...old is not for sissies... Merry Christmas to you all

Little Hater

People who use animated gifs as avatars. I'd complain to MV, but ...

BobGrau

There is no sensible reason why Skyrim couldn't include a magic carpet.

I'm reminded of the Simpsons where they're picking a name for their barbershop quartet: "We need a name that's witty at first, but that seems less funny each time you hear it."      :D :) :-\

People are playing with their iPhones at the pump AFTER they have completed the fueling process even though there are lines of cars to gain access to said pump. It almost makes me wish the static charge warnings on the pump itself would come true. Only almost, because it is almost Christmas.

onan

Getting to the age where every young female clerk calls me honey, sweetie, or darling. I can barely handle sir.

Q-Pi

Coworkers who didn't bother to inform you regarding the deleterious impact of their system cutover on your work until the actual day of their system cutover... two days before Christmas.

That sounds very profound if you read it in a SV voice

Dr. MD MD

So, this is where all the other Curmudgeons hang out  :D
I saw this a few years back and thought, "This could be me...probably is...aw, hell! That's me." :P
You might relate too. Check it out sometime when you get a chance:

People who decorate with those Christmas-light nets meant to wrap small bushes.  Usually looks like laundry hung on the shrubbery to dry.

Ciardelo

People who say shrubbery.

People who say shrubbery.

Is it the word shrubbery itself, or the type of people who would use such a word are annoying?

Hedges.

That`s another one.

As Maynard G. Krebs would have said, "You're a real human being, Mr Albrecht!"

Can one really separate the two? I suppose, if pressed I would have to say it is the word itself. Like another fine BellGab poster here, I'm not too fond of that word "Hedges" either...

I know it's off-topic but I find hedge-rows to be calming though.
