Things That Annoy You

Started by onan, May 22, 2011, 01:41:35 AM

Kanye also has that (to me) incredibly annoying habit of keeping his mouth constantly open (like a Tiger Woods and Matthew Broderick).  Close your damn mouth you slack-jawed mouth-breathing twit!

He has to do that to vent the excess genius he generates.  If he didn't, his head would explode.

LinkedIn sends more emails than any other spam service I know of.

Lines at the post office are annoying.

I'm stuck in one now.

jazmunda

Impulse buy items enticing me in lines that I am forced to wait in are annoying too. Ooh M & Ms.

he he. Can I use that one when I meet up with some friends on the weekend? I want to seem relevant and funny. I find BellGab to be a rich source of material. Probably explains why I have few friends and all my relatives hate me.

Brilliant!  You may have just hit upon a way to save the USPS!  If every post office had a few racks of overpriced impulse items to tempt people waiting in line, they'd turn a profit every year!

I heard a story on NPR that the USPS was looking into providing basic banking service like check cashing and such. If WalMart can do it why can't USPS?

A nice little logo with you as the grim reaper and Art's head in hand would be apropo on your card, too, Jaz. ;) :))

Every Australia Post (our USPS - same shit, different stink - actually same shit, same stink, less mass shootings but they may be due to our gun laws but I digress) has this scam going since it's the 21st century and nobody uses the post anymore.

Having recently carried out some research in this field, I've concluded that the Royal Mail owes its continued existence to Silk Road.

I hate that! What's worse, is when you drop a small object, like a coin or bolt. A reasonable person expects it to have landed within a few feet. Nope.  Somehow it ends up  15' away, or it disappears completely. A portal? A week later you run it over with the vacuum cleaner in a completely different room.  ???
Know what you mean.  Clicking to adjust for windage and the poptart falls off the table edge, bounces off your ALICE pack and drops just out of reach.

Not fully, but there's enough of that strain in the bloodline, so where I'm at risk. My facial hair has seen a rise in reddish hue. That's probably where the stray hair came from...

I hope so, because shaving your gums is a problem.

I'd wax them. Always going that extra mile to maintain my pulchritude.

Wait ... Were you going down on yourself again? Is that even possible? I guess it's not otherwise human to human contact would become obsolete.

driving down the freeway @65mph (the posted speed limit) , see a cop in the fast lane (im in the slow lane) and a car in front of the cop. cop pulls up behind the car, who promptly whips it into the slow lane behind me. i have a dodge dakota p/u in stock form, 2wd. i cannot see most of the cars hood, meaning they were less than 1' (.33 meters) from my rear bumper. cop slows a bit but stays in the fast lane, car takes the next exit, cop motors on down the road.

then on the way home, again on the freeway @65mph , a dodge caravan in the fast lane cuts over in front of me, close enough that the word "caravan" is below my hood line so i cant see it.
fun times

When I drive I just treat every other car as if they are a moron and could do something insanely stupid at any moment. If ever you get a chance to do a defensive driving course I highly recommend it.
