I wonder what it is in German. He dismisses trainspotting as though it isn't important. It keeps simple none demanding middle aged blokes with brown ill fitting anoraks occupied at weekends.

The feminization goes on and on. I remember when layabouts spent their days in pool halls. Now it's barbershops.

Why do you hate scissor and shears manufacurers? Won't someone think of the hair clippings?

I haven't stepped foot in a barber shop in over 15 years. I do my own haircuts. I don't trust people with sharp implements near my eyes, ears, nose and/or throat.

I didn't even mention the Puerto Ricans playing stickball on the corner. Thanks for the reminder.

Layabouts should be like me during in the day. In the parlor, drinking booze in front of the AC.

Those are weapons and paperweights in most barbershops.

...It just hit me that they are more living Dick Van Dyke Show original cast members living, than original Ramones.

That was the best damn fight I ever watched.

And you ask this because you are already using your vacuum as a kind of super penis pump? I imagine it would work Down Under. Just don't stick your dick in the FlowBe.

It is deliciously mellifluous, isn't it?  And he's quite adept at using it to convey the illusion of erudition and the possession of redeeming qualities.

We don't have trainspotters here because Wal-Mart performs a valuable community service by rounding up our idle elderly, outfitting them in blue vests, and giving them gainful employment as greeters in their stores.  Maybe someone could institute a similar program in the UK.

Hey baby; my redeeming qualities are many and varied. When I say many, I mean one or two, and varied, Okay, I'm a one trick pony.. And they're lent to me, I don't possess anything. My accent isn't strong to me, but if I go outside Yorkshire and south to where the monsters live in Londonshire, or similar, the ones who can lower themselves to speak to me, say it is.

Greeters? "OI!!! What the fuck do you want? Piss off" It's all true, that's what their script would be.

I've never lived in the South, but years ago some Australians accused me of having a drawl.  They were explaining that they call the Big Dipper, The Sauce Pan, which I pronounce the way it's spelled. They insisted that the proper pronunciation is, "Susspin."  They found my pronunciation riotously funny and had some good sport at my expense for a minute or two before they were distracted by a shiny object and forgot all about me.

Wal-Mart greeters are unfailingly polite, because those who aren't are disappeared and sent to the Soylent Green factory near the corporate headquarters in Bentonville, Arkansas.  However, they never miss an opportunity to "inadvertently" brush pretty young women with their crotches in passing.

Was it Susspin with a question inflection? If not, it wasn't proper Aussiespeak. They do like a shiny object though, did they decide what it was they'd seen?

I don't recall, but they were drunk, loud, and annoying so I'm pretty sure they were authentic.  And I have no idea what they saw or thought they saw, because I used the distraction to make my getaway.

Women who nod and smile when telling you something (anything from a near death experience to what they had for breakfast). What are you agreeing to??? Are you nodding and smiling because women are just always supposed to be "agreeable" or are you trying to trick my subconscience into believing your story and/or agreeing with your statement?!

People who smile and apologize when they cry.

People who walk their dogs on retractable leashes.

I was surprised to learn Californians are considered to have a slight drawl.

Isn't the reason we crank out the movies and TV shows is to get people to tawk like us?

Funny Ha Ha or Funny Queer?

If it's the latter, check a mirror. The nerve!
