The Republican establishment also did. As did any third party, like Libertarian or even Green. It was a prime opportunity for someone, and Trump proved didn't even need THAT much money, from a third party or independent to jump. The negatives were high on both for a point and lots of 'voting against.' I'm glad Trump won but opportunity was lost and I can't figure how poorly Johnson did? Stoned? Just dumber than I thought? And both the alternative candidates were even worse than Hillary on the border issues and immigration. I wish Ron Paul was younger and ran.

In most of the polls that made the distinction, the third party votes took away from Clinton. 
I really hope Trump gets good advisors and does nothing rash until all ramifications are considered.  I would prefer heavy penalties for hiring illegals rather than a wall.

Well, the problem with this is that people have a different definition of what is 'good'.  The bible really is a poor political guide.  It is mostly involved in teaching introspection and improving the state of your own soul.

I don't understand the protest.  What do they want to accomplish?  All I can see is that such protests just tend to solidify the opposition.  Do we REALLY want this?  Two opposing camps becoming more and more hateful of each other?  Isn't that what happened in Germany so long ago?  It's dumb to protest the inevitable.  Let's just try and see if we can all work together for the betterment of the country as a whole.
