Trump Rally at U of I in downtown Chicago has turned into a near riot and been cancelled because of a huge mobs of Trump protesters inside and out.  I can't believe Trump's staff booked the U of I arena and didn't expect this; the area's hard core and I don't mean Tea Party.  The shit's gonna hit the fan this summer folks; big time...and probably to Trumps advantage.

CNN and MSNBC reporters are completely misrepresenting what's very apparent on the screen.

Right on, star.  This is a prelude to the conventions.  And who do we have to thank for this?  The man in the white house.

They have to cover because the truth cannot be spoken of. Interestingly Obama visited my town today and no white people, or even just citizens of any type, attacked his supporters, protested (at least much- his BLM was here with signs "honk if you aren't racist" at some intersections and some usual- but no looting,) and he didn't have to cancel his visit to get some money. Actually we put up with the SS saying you couldn't go out on your own balconies in certain condos and buildings, road shut downs, airport shut down, and school out early. No attacks or riots. Right now, for that matter, he is visiting a neighborhood Tarrytown near me -where I can count the black people on one hand by the way- to a fund-raiser and they shut down roads. No white residents have disrupted his event or attacked the rich people hosting the dinner. Odd.

So glad liberals and their plantation thugs are part of the process.

+1 To Infinity!

I wasn't brave enough to say it, but I sure as hell am thinking it.  ;)

Fox keeps trying to interview the protesters and the Trump supporters on the street. The protesters keep screaming whenever a supporter is being interviewed. When they try to interview a protester, everyone so far says they don't want to say why they are there and refuse to speak to the reporter.

Trump's campaign is fizzling. He will probably become the Republican nomination but there is NO CHANCE he can beat anyone in the GE. He invokes such hatred among people that many will vote for the Democrat just because they hate Trump. It's really a huge conspiracy by the media to get the most hated candidate on the Republican side so Hillary can win.

I'm watching hockey but I guess if I want to see fights I should turn on the news! Oddly no white people are attacking the supporters or disrupting the fund-raiser that Obama is having in a neighborhood near me. Weird!

To be honest, it looked to me like at least half of the protesters were white and carrying Bernie Sanders signs.

I didn't know that was going on too.  Time for math.

I still have sneaking suspicions of Trump because he is soft on immigration and has been so friendly to the Clintons, Hollywood, and others, over the years. It could, as my initial hunch had it, that he is some kind of stalking-horse for Billary. If the case it would be a brilliant and historical political conspiracy worthy of besting the most Byzantine royal intrigues. So at least we are a part of history. I hope Trump isn't lying, even though he doesn't go far enough, in his views about the country and immigration. In any event, the Balkanization of the country, which Obama so resents, and divisiveness Obama wanted- is happening. So it looks like his legacy is assured, especially if Billary wins and then even fractures the "left."

His SS sent letters to residents in certain areas not to go on their balconies (these are expensive condos,) streets were shut down, the airport will be shut down twice, our traffic already sucks and was made much worse today (due to Obama and SXSW and halted construction,) some schools shut down early, and in the affluent (and mostly all white neighborhood Tarrytown) where he is being hosted for some money-giving the roads were/are shut down. None of the citizens, or "typical white people," as he might call them, have protested, attacked, or disrupted his money-raising efforts. He also spoke at some lengthy SXSW conference and went over-time, supposedly. Nobody disrupted, attacked, or protested.
Only protesters I've seen was some of his BLM-types holding signs saying "honk if you aren't racist" and a threatened 'open-carry' protest. But both of those were related to SXSW crowds and not him or his events. And last year even some Black Panther factor marched 'open-carry' to some amusement/shock from visiting hipsters and foreigners. No incidents.

I only flipped over and saw the confrontation with the big black guy inside the event- but I'm sure your correct. After the hockey game and watching white dudes slam each other around I will put back on the news....in time to hear Art on MITD!
But I point out that UT and Austin has substantial liberal, Bernie, etc supporters and no riots or attacks on Obama or his elite fundraising....

You must be better at math than I am (and many folks are).  But you have more numbers to work with.  Think I'll just sit back and read for a while. ;D

Anyone see Obama on CNN just now? Seemed like he'd been drinking.

I didn't see but fairly sure he likely was. Air Force One trip, convoy, SXSW speech, and then a private fund-raiser in Tarrytown after all. I wonder if he is going to be able to cut in line so he can hit-on a homosexual BBQ restaurant worker- like last time he was in town?

Protest was mostly organized by moveon.org. Which has already endorsed Sanders. That explains why none of the protesters would say why they were there and what they were protesting when asked by the Fox reporter. They would scream obscenities while a Trump supporter was being interviewed, but as soon as the reporter offered them a chance to talk, they refused to answer simple questions like "Why are you here tonight?"

Aah, I could see some bad blood there MoveOn started as a Clinton apologist group and then was an Obama-affiliated group. If they are backing Bernie and Billary is going to take the nomination due to the delegate and 'super' delegate machinations they figure they will be marginalized in the Party (and the Clintons are notorious for holding grudges and making enemies accountable.) And so attacking Trump might help get them back in good graces, or at least, release some frustration since they know they are in trouble if they backed Bernie and Billary wins. Enemies list, audits, fund-raising drying up, etc.

It all depends on if they try to take the nomination from Trump if he goes in with a majority of delegates, but not enough to take the nomination. If they try to run Romney or an establishment guy as a compromise candidate, then we could see civil disorder. Same with the Dems, if it looks like Bernie would win without Hillary's superdelegates, there could be problems.
I am a Bernie supporter but if Hillary gets the nomination before or during the convention any violence won't come from either candidates' supporters. Currently most disturbances have come from outside groups like Black Lives Matter. That would be the case in Chicago.
Trump supporters, however, in general seem to be a cranky group. And they will probably have their fair share of protesters too in Cleveland
I feel like this year is a revolution. I hope it is a bloodless one

There were a few BLM people there, but it was mostly moveon.org. They organized the protest.

I didn't see any wild allegations in this clip. Besides that, I agree with her position rather than Rogers'. Although, if you want to suggest that Rogers looked ready to grab her and throw her on the ground, I would agree with that. And no, she wouldn't deserve that kind of treatment.

i never suggested there were any allegations in this video.  this video has nothing to do with the allegations aside from the fact that she's in it, and holy shit does she seem like an annoying person.
