Hart-Celler Act needs to be repealed and eliminated, though it might be too late at this point. But at least a sane immigration scheme would slow the circling in the drain. Immigration should primarily be focused on the benefits to the country and take citizens as first priority- not the immigrant. It also should be adjusted to admit good immigrants and not allow quick, large demographic changes. A quota system based on pre-65 (or earlier) population demographics should be initiated. And standards for a basic, at least, fluency in English, documented identity, health checks, wealth or income verification, criminal background checks, and education/skills getting priority. At the same time there, of course, could be VISA system for students, specialized workers, temporary/seasonal workers, etc but the system would be monitored, the people checked, and not allowed to over-stay and would, being granted the ability to make $$ here, agree to be, if determined to be questionable or from certain countries, to be profiled and monitored.

As an aside I recall some youtube guy (Sweden? Denmark? Germany?) Somewhere up there, who would post about forging blades and comparing steel mixes and traditional designs on objects. And also, I think same guy, who would also make other old weapons and test them. Forgot the channel though, sorry.
For more modern stuff, guns, the "Box of Truth" guy on the interwebs is fun. Test various rounds, myths, etc out.
