That would be Millwall, or possibly Cardiff City; SV is quite posh; naturally when I say posh, I mean a southern jessie.

**Friends? Define. I have no idea what the 'cod' means. Is it an acronym?

I was wondering too, but then I was born in Somalia and brought up in Towelheadistan, if you listen to him.

The only thing I can think of is 'cash on delivery', which further encourages the view that the time he spent with those officers involved wearing a blond wig and getting passed around at some late-night bugger banquet.

I am repeating what I've heard Brits say.  Spent time with some on a cruise last fall.  As for the rest of your post, I have no idea of what your talking about.

Did you ever hear them call someone a pongo?

I think you meant to say "pouff".

No but that word definitely applies.

Sod?

He had so much jizz in  his ears at the time you can excuse his hearing being a little shaky.

I'm sure you can relate.

No but maybe "cod" was "cod piece."  Yeah, that's probably it.

I've come to the conclusion with Trump, is he really didn't want to be POTUS and the job it entails, but wanted to just win the election as POTUS.

I've done a few jobs in my life on this thing we call Earth; Involved mainly in the printing industry (all genres; several skills, including management-not concurrently), but also in the newspaper press as a photographer. I've also been in high value, critical tolerance material manufacturing. The worst job I had was about thirty years ago when I had a stint between redundancy and a new job; I was delivering coal; manually. Awful.

I've been involved in costing; time and material estimation for quotes. Based on experience, hard fought customer confidence, good and consistent supplies, machinery availability and staffing. All this is collected before the quote is submitted; hopefully (but rarely) with sufficient wriggle room for the client changing the spec, time frame or any unforeseen downtime. But ultimately an element of know-how and past knowledge and excellent communication can be brought to bear for the job in hand. Clients will often forgive a delay given the reason, they seldom if ever forgive a lie or attempt to obfuscate.

The current WH hasn't any of that. If it were a company, its order book would be empty by now. Completely. They have no apparent common method or even pretence of being trustworthy; what have they demonstrated to prove they should be trusted about anything? I'm genuinely open to being pointed to the evidence.

That's what people in the Navy call people in the Army. Cods plural is slang for genitals, but I've never heard someone call anyone a cod. But you  could write a book listing every British slang term and never get to the end of it.

You are really one low class, foul mouthed mutt aren't you.  You're living proof that leftests are the dregs of society--something one needs to scrape off the bottom of ones shoe.

It's uncanny. Those were my mother's last words before I pushed her onto that railway line.

The same is true in the States.  There are terms that people from the Deep South use that leave me wondering WTF.  In fairness, they probably think some of my Yankee terms are incomprehensible.

Hmmmmmm; I think you're wrong. No; I know you're wrong. Have you heard of Tony Benn? He was a fighter pilot in WW2. Friend and foe alike accepted he was a man of immense integrity and intelligence.

Paddy Ashdown? Former leader of the Liberal Democrats. Left of centre, definitely. Served as a Royal Marine; then he was a captain in the SBS, serving in the far East and Belfast (when they just handed out selection into the RM and SBS like toys out of Cornflake packets); later he was in MI6.

I'm talking about Marxist-Leninist style leftists. I'm originally from Connecticut and most of my extended family are liberals.  I take pride in being the political pariah of the family but I still love 'em.
It just makes family gatherings more interesting especially when the police are called.

Bannon is a Leninist. And he's running the joint.  ;)

...yeah, but that sharing was conditional on you wearing your Marine Boy costume, shared with Sweaty Kathy in her Marina costume.

Yeah, they should get matching helmets and lick the windows together.

My my, your 'accountability' mantra seems to have stalled. You were all in favour of the Reps blocking anything the Dems proposed; and (rightly) gave chapter and verse how not even the POTUS was above the law...

Um, the executive has specific powers, as does the Congress, as does the judiciary.

The Congress legislates or doesn't.  The president can sign a bill or veto it.  If the Congress refuses to pass legislation a president wants, that's the end of it - he doesn't then bypass them and create whatever law he wants.

As far as the judiciary, they have jurisdiction to settle disputes in certain areas.  In certain other areas - such as immigration and deciding what is in the interest of national security, they have no jurisdiction.  The phony judges in the 9th Circuit were asking Trump's lawyers for proof the ''immigrants'' from those countries posed a threat.  That is not their role, their role is to interpret the law - and the law is the president decides.

I hope that helps, although from past experience I know you'll ignore it and just continue on.  That's ok, we're used to the Libs here going through any channel to get their way, Constitutional or not, why would you be any different

‘It Won’t Happen,’ Donald Trump Says of North Korean Missile Test;

Faced with a threat from North Korea that it might soon test an intercontinental ballistic missile, President-elect Donald J. Trump took to Twitter on Monday to declare bluntly, “It won’t happen!”

Today.

North Korea has fired an unidentified type of projectile, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reports.
The missile was launched at 07:55 local time (22:55 GMT Saturday) and flew east towards the Sea of Japan, South Korean defence officials say. Initial reports had described it as ballistic missile.
Pyongyang has conducted a number of nuclear tests in the past year.

The Mexicans and illegals, and some of our city council, is freaking out over ICE arresting some criminal aliens (a policy unchanged since Obama was in office.) It is hilarious. They are freaking out and all kinds of rumors are spreading in the illegal community about new raids, traffic checkpoint stops, etc (all of which is not true but good to see them worry.) It is funny to see. I don't see why ICE doesn't show up at some of the protests and arrest any illegals there (use the pretext of them littering or interfering with traffic to arrest/cite that would necessitate at ID check. If they are illegal, arrest and deport. The State is threatening to withhold money because our City Council and new Sheriff has promised to be a 'sanctuary city.' Illegals are more important than legal citizens, at least in Austin.

Another funny thing is to see all these leftists acting/talking like the so-called fringe, crazed right-wingers: talk of secession, talk of State's Rights, talk of refusing to comply with laws, etc.

I know what it is to make a midlife career change.  Ain't easy and I had some retirement money coming in.

Most prominently, Trump has been doing exactly what he said he was going to do with his executive orders and efforts to bring back industry.  Whatever you think of him, he's indefatigable and focused and is keeping his word as best he can.  I trust and respect action more than I do words.
