Please stop it, FTF.  A third party candidate will ensure a Democratic victory.  I will not even consider voting for Romney.  You know that I'm no big fan of Trump but that is our presumptive nominee whether we like it or not.  Do you want a repeat of 1992?  It is imperative that Trump wins the Presidency for the sake of the Supreme Court.

I`m being facetious, 21. Just gettin` the mouthbreathers wound up.

Legalize freedom. Vote Johnson 2016.

Any rational thinking person that can read this article, while taking into consideration all of Trump`s previous lies and boorish behavior, and still think he is fit to be President, is in dire need of some kind of mental health  intervention.

Hoping beyond hope that Gary Johnson and a third party catches on. I know it never does but Hillary and Trump are both such shitty candidates that this might be the perfect time. If the media would LET another party on the debating stage with the Dems and Reps maybe there is a chance because no one knows they exist otherwise.

Since Jim Webb isn't running Gary Johnson is my guy.

I don't think Bernie is going to get it. Especially with how crooked the Nevada DNC was last night. It'll just be a couple of months of the Dangerous Don kicking Shillary's teeth in followed by America being great again.

Not a peep about the Dems in NV on the Sunday news shows. Still saturation bombing with more serious stuff about Trump pranking that reporter 25 yrs ago and liking his women beautiful. Sanders = Don Quixote.  Only one way he'd get the nomination but firearms are banned from the convention.

Not only does most of the media protect the Clintons, the narrative between Bernie and Hillary is not making the ratings like Trump is. The hit pieces dropped this week because they are trying to make a story about a contested convention by drawing attention to the pathetic attempt by the establishment to run an independent candidate...it clearly is not working...

It's getting harder to slam Trump's "America First" speech after reading the pentagon report on our spending in Afghanistan. $113.2 billion wasted.

She runs the show - that's what I've heard.  She is the 'encouragement' for all the Trump men.  If it were not for her W probably would have had a much more satisfying life, I'm thinking.

What a shocker, Trump's campaign manager is deaf, too.  ;D Good comedy!

''The casino magnate Sheldon G. Adelson told Donald J. Trump in a private meeting last week that he was willing to contribute more to help elect him than he has to any previous campaign, a sum that could exceed $100 million, according to two Republicans with direct knowledge of Mr. Adelson’s commitment.

As significant, Mr. Adelson, a billionaire based in Las Vegas, has decided that he will significantly scale back his giving to congressional Republicans and direct most of his contributions to groups dedicated to Mr. Trump’s campaign. The two Republicans familiar with Mr. Adelson’s plans spoke anonymously because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

Mr. Adelson’s pledge to Mr. Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, comes at an opportune time. Mr. Trump has relied on a mix of his own wealth and small-dollar contributions to finance his primary effort and lacks the sort of major donor network needed to sustain him in the general election. Mr. Trump has said that he may need $1 billion for the campaign but has only recently begun scheduling fund-raisers and hiring finance staff members. Many of the Republican Party’s wealthiest contributors, including the billionaire brothers Charles G. and David H. Koch, have indicated they are unlikely to give to his candidacy.''

Isn't Adelson's one issue Israel?  So Trump is his favorite?  What does that say about Trump?

I'm thinking that Trump is caving to either reality or the establishment.  He is now going to raise taxes on the rich, as Democrats are often accused of doing.  I admired him for his concerns regarding the importation of too many outside cultures into the country too fast, so they never assimilate.  Now, I find that he can/will flip flop on even that.  His campaign 'promises' are to be thought as 'suggestions'.  Doesn't this mean he has no intention of keeping most of them?

Report: Anti-Trump Republicans contacted Mark Cuban about third-party bid

QuoteA group of anti-Donald Trump Republicans is trying to lure Dallas Mavericks owner and billionaire businessman Mark Cuban into the presidential race as a third-party candidate, according to a published report.

Cuban told The Washington Post Saturday that the unnamed Republicans told him that his loud persona combined with his “ability to connect with voters” could make him a winning contender on an independent ticket.

The NBA team owner rejected their advances, but expressed confidence that he could withstand Trump in the election.

“He could come after me all he wanted, and he knows I would put him in his place,” Cuban told the Post. “All that said, again, I don’t see it happening. There isn’t enough time.”

Cuban offered some of his thoughts on the presidential race in a February blog post. He said at the time that there has “not been a single instance of leadership from any of the candidates.”

“It may not seem like it sometimes, but this country does want exciting new ideas. We want to know there is a positive direction for us,” Cuban wrote. “The future of this country can’t just be about free stuff, raising taxes on the rich or cutting taxes for everyone, keeping people out and undoing what is already done.

“There are new ideas in this world that matter. It would be nice to get one from a Presidential candidate.”

According to the Post, certain Republicans are getting major donors lined up, commissioning private polls and trying to lure contenders to derail the presumptive GOP nominee Trump.

The paper reported that the effort to derail Trump has ramped up significantly in the last 10 days.

Jesus the Republicans are a pack of ass cancer.

THIS Scott Adams post might be of interest.

Particularly this part...

QuoteFrom a business standpoint, Trump knows that Presidents make decisions based on current knowledge, not past knowledge. And by next year, a lot of what we think we know will be updated. If Trump said today exactly what he plans to do next year, it would be dumb. No CEO acts that way. No president acts that way either. It is useful to have broad policy preferences, but the details will change because of negotiations and because of newer information.

You also have to assume that a sitting President has more information than any of the candidates. At least I hope so. And that means anything the candidates say about fighting ISIS, for example, is probably under-informed. The same could be said for the economy because a president typically has more and better advisors than a candidate.

What would be the point of a third party run on either side? You'll get at most 5% of the general and be a huge villain with a dead political career for the rest of your life.

I don't support Trump's corp tax scheme.  The corporate tax whining is a crock.  The rate in the IRS tables is one thing; what's actually collected is a fraction of it.  Apple paid 13% Fed tax in 2014.  Dozens of Fortune 500 and S&P 500 firms pay no Federal tax whatsoever.  If a flat tax of 15% on profits was imposed and enforced with chgs to accounting rules and BS deductions, the wailing from Wall St would be deafening in Omaha. Same fo the repatriation "penalty"...it's only an issue because of foreign banks are allowed provide a tax-free hidey hole for American companies.  CEOs are globalists with no loyalties except to their bonus.

I see the latest media drumbeat over Trump's "suggestions" as more rhetorical dissection and parsing of every syllable the guy utters.  They keep trying to parse him onto being Attila...and they always end up looking foolish when the public sees it for the trivia it is.

Ben Carson Reveals Five Names on Trump VP List
http://www.breitbart.com/2016-presidential-race/2016/05/15/ben-carson-reveals-five-trump-vp-list/

QuoteDr. Ben Carson confirmed five people on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s list of potential vice presidential running mates in a recent interview.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trump’s closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

Carson named the VP contenders to the Washington Post during a car ride with his wife Candy to a TV interview. Carson has been traveling as a spokesman for Trump. He has also been placed on a committee working on pinning down a running mate for the real estate mogul turned GOP presumptive presidential nominee.

Candy was noted in the backseat exchange as saying Carson was not on the list. They had been discussing a poll which named Carson as a favorable Trump running mate.

The list of five may not be all of the names on the list. However, in recent days, Trump told the Associated Press that he had whittled the VP short list to five or six. Trump did not, however, reveal who those five or six were. During an interview with Fox News host Greta Van Susteren, he suggested that the list was five or six or seven. He also suggested former Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer or Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin could be on the list and that there were at least a few women on the list when Van Susteren asked. He said there was one on the list that would not be as government-related as the others.

Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski is said to be heading up the VP selection process. The final choice is expected to be revealed at the July Republican National convention where Trump will presumably be named the official Republican nominee.

Well... all five of those would be a disaster. I'm guessing Carson was joking and hopefully he's the number one pick.
