Thanks, Coyle.   For some reason, years ago, I read a little bit about A. Jones and I thought it said I was the same age as him.   Thanks for keeping me out of "middle age" so far.

Jones claims a DOB of 2/11/74. I shudder to think that the obese, wig wearing Texas con man is only 16 months older than me. The son of a bitch looked 38 when David Koresh was alive. I believe that's his real age the way I'd trust a baseball prospect from the Dominican Republic or Penthouse Pet. Whatever they claim, just add five years.
And I hate that he was born on a Monday. I hate sharing any commonality with him.

I don't post much, and generally enjoy a more "intellectually slanted" post or response,
And as an "intellectually slanted" gesture of support:

John B. Wells sucks. I mean REALLY sucks...
So to reiterate, John B. Wells sucks.
Of course he does.  Bad enough that I sent him a scathing e-mail while he was playing "browbeat the academic" with Krauss 2 months ago.
But you know what?  Listening to fineartstream, I've been noticing how much Art presaged Wells throughout the time I had listened to him, since '96.   Art was most decidedly NOT an "intellectually-slanted" guy.   For me, the sounds he was making since the Great Radio Right-Shift, post "9/11,"  sound a lot like Wells.

YIKES.  Okay, either I mis-remembered or what I read was wrong.  I had no interest in looking it up a while ago before I posted.  Sorry.  Yeah ~ I am..... older.   But that gives me strength, too.  I KNOW I look younger than that fat jerk (for what that's worth, for the cosmetically-obsessed -- like me  ;D )
"Wig-wearing," you say...  and that's the best he can do??

...and hearing the replay now:  Jones says he doesn't "have 100 percent proof" that Obama killed Breitbart.
Okay, Jonesy: show us the 99% you have.   Or 80%.   Or 1%.

Right.   That's what I thought.

He said "aaaalllll the groups that are living off government largesse" are to blame for killing Breitbart.  Right, AJ, like your mama.   Or are you supporting her with your internet-based trash??   If not, did your mama kill Breitbart?

Wall Street and the Fortune 500?(sic-50 is more like it)

Last night's show was the final straw for me. I emailed the producers, Snoory and everyone else that c2c has finally declined into an embarrassing paranoid conspiracy, anti-science, quackery pushing late night rant, and that I will no longer renew my streamlink, even to listen to Knapp.

Bad enough they give airtime to the baking soda cancer quacks, but giving a platform for that weasel Alex Jones to formulate a conspiracy theory that had Obama killing Breitbart to shut him up was too much for me, or I'd guess, anyone with viable brain cells. Breitbart was overweight, stressed out, and had a history of heart disease, any one of which could have caused sudden death. I think having Jones visit C2C and Snoory visit his show is all part of prem rat's new agenda for C2C, as they move away from the past paranormal, oddity, ufo shows and move into Beck territory, which they can do without me, or another nickel of mine.

I didn't want to believe it, but C2C as we knew it is really gone, and the cuckoo left in it's place is terrifying.

I'm now sorry I cancelled the renewal of my Streamlink subscription the other day.  After hearing Jones and Wells tonight, I wish I could cancel it again.  What a load of swill.

Can I just say, for the record, how brilliant this statement is? I laughed out loud. Cheers Geezer!

b_dubb

why was Breitbart so stressed out?  did he just have a shitload of debt and no reliable income stream?

people need to take care of themselves.  if you don't take care of yourself, who will?  and the take away lesson here is ... take care of yourself.  life is too short to be made even shorter by not taking care of yourself

I don't know about Breitbart's personal debt or any of that, but running a media empire, attending the CPAC two weeks ago, and keeping on top of the changes that occur almost from hour to hour in the Republican camp had to add to his stress load over the past few months. I think the guy was on the go 24/7 and it caught up with him. And you're right b_dubb, people have to take care of themselves. Nothing's going to matter anymore 2 seconds after you drop dead.

Breitbart was obsessed with "getting" Obama and lived at somewhere between rant and rave levels since Obama took his oath.  I think there's a very strong chance he was on something; just watch his speeches.  The eyes were scary.

No way no how, I think this is propaganda to demonize Obama, like most of the media is doing. Breitbart never had any videos, he was told he would eventually receive them why else would he announce to show them on a future date? If he was offed, then it was due to a plan to make Obama look like a Corleone. Its like a reverse psychology from the media.

A visit from the Obama psy-ops team?  Even the White House must think Noory sucks.

What did you think of the video of Obama hugging and praising the America hating 'Professor' Derrick Bell, and the subsequent Soledad O'Brien meltdown in BOs defense?

VtaGeezer

Breitbart's "smoking gun" video turned out to show Harvard student Obama making a speech praising one of his profs at Harvard; one who as the first and sole black prof had the tumerity to protest about lack of diversity in the faculty.  What a subversive enemy of America!   Fox's Hannity aired it after a big build up and it was so mild it would have been a joke if not for the sinister intent.  This video was discovered in 08 and determined so innocuous then that it was never used against Obama.

Jones and Wells went on for the full first hour inferring that Breitbart was murdered at the order of the President to prevent this utterly unimportant video from surfacing.  Wells has in his few weeks as a host utterly fouled C2C, an iconic radio show, with his ignorant hate and paranoia.  His willingness to promulgate vicious paranoia has no place in public discourse.   I'll be listening to him this week so I can note his sponsors and contact them to ask them how they'll feel when the hateful creep  whom they sponsor triggers another McVeigh.  Premiere Radio...shame on you for giving this jerk a platform to spread his virulence.

The smoking gun video was lame. Very lame.

Anyone who actually knows who Derrick Bell was and what he did knows "the hug" needs no defense whatsover. See, Bell rose to the high levels of the legal profession when people his color actually were hated openly by much of America. Those demonizing him today never heard of him before the Fox News Obama haters told them what they are to think...again.

I strongly disliked Bell long before Fox News launch in October, 1996. Being a Boston resident I'd been aware of his shakedown tactics, everybody's a racist until they provide him and his pals with "accommodations". His business was being a race baiter, setting the stage for lessers like Skip Gates,Colonel West et al. Even the lily-livered guilty white liberals at Harvard Law saw him as a fraud with the passage of time. So I guess they must be Hannity followers as well?

Yeah...that race-baiter Gates...hassled by a white cop for going in his own back door and arrested after having the uppityness to object.  But after all, he didn't look "right" for the neighborhood.  No reason for him suspect to racism. These hypersensitive blacks; they just love to complain.

Don't mean to be argumentative, EC, but having lived in the Deep South in the early 70s, I'll NEVER accuse a black person of exploiting the civil rights laws.  Most Northern whites simply have no idea what racism is and the right today is flirting with dangerous reversals.

Both the cop and Gates reacted poorly. Two over aggressive assholes who are used to getting their way. But Gates ain't Nelson Mandela, his reaction of "Your Mama" is hardly becoming an alleged scholar. That could have been defused, but it was two Alpha Males acting foolishly.

The Deep South(of any era) was undeniably racist, atrociously so, but they are not the norm. The rest of "white society" condemned them, isolated them, made them objects of ridicule. Derrick Bell and company never acknowledged this, his acolytes like Michael Eric Dyson paint a picture of 200 Million member KKK.

BTW, Bell(and Hurricane Carter) no-showed an event at my high school(88% minority-by law) because he wouldn't be remunerated.

I have never watched Fox News, even for a second, -- ( no TV) but think “Critical Race Theory” is, uhmm, quite a unique way of looking at things.

It’s main thesis seems to be that white racism can exist without any actual white racists and, as a corollary, whites are uniquely and irredeemably evil.  Unlike the proponents of CRT, I don’t think any views should be illegal, so I am fine with people advocating this.  But don’t mistake it for any “let’s get rid of racial discrimination and all be brothers and sisters” sort of thing…

But, Eddie Coyle, I suspect you are right too.  A lot of it is just a shakedown for money and other goodies.

Which gets us back to Obama, the guy that campaigned on bringing us together, hugging and praising these race baiter hustlers.

And why did the mainstream media cover it up during the campaign?

Your rhetorical question brought a tingle up my leg. I'm sure that they would have remained silent if McCain's pastor preached *White* liberation theology. There would have been nary a peep from Jackson and Sharpton. They'd ignore the church visits from David Duke too, because there are absolutely no journalistic double standards when it comes to race.

So it's OK to hold bitterness over completely inconsequential and public actions by politician (and student) Obama, but those black people just need to get over 300 years of sanctioned racism?

BTW, John McCain chased virulent religious bigot/anti-Semite James Hagee for support and hugged him publicly yet there was nary a ripple on the right.

Wells hosts yet another NWO conspiracy type tonight.  If there was any doubt where Prime Radio is taking C2C....

Where did I say that? I was talking about the double standards and hypocrisy of much of mainstream journalism. I wasn't just talking about Breitbart's Bell tape, which was a few streets away from Al Capone's vault. I also wasn't talking about shameful events that took place before I even was born, and for which I feel no guilt. I was talking about how  Democratic journalistic outlets would have covered McCain if he went to a church for twenty years that was pastored by a White version of Jeremiah Wright and if his pastor asked David Duke to speak to the congregation. We all know how both alternative and maintream journalism would handle *that* story. Most of us also know that there are two sets of rules at play here. It's what's known as common knowledge.

I reject your Hagee analogy too. McCain didn't regularly attend his church, and he broke ties with him. The Left and the libs covered the story too, and even mainstream outlets mentioned it. BTW, saying that John Hagee is anti-Jewish is like saying that Billy Graham is anti-Baptist. He's one of the main supporters of Israel in the USA. His church even held celebrations and ceremonies with Jewish people in the congregation. Israeli flags filled the church. Hagee even wrote a book about the threat of Iran (Persia). He even hinted that Jews don't need to convert to his belief system because of their special relationship with God. You may disagree with his Christianity and politics, but he's certainly not anti-Semitic. That's if you count only Jews as Semites, though (hee). He doesn't sound all that crazy about their Arab cousins.

Sadly, this appears to be the media's attitude towards black racism, even amongst friends and associates of Presidential candidates.  Since the mainstream media refused to vet Obama last time around, and is still carrying water for him, I guess it's up to citizen reporters such as Breitbart's organization to do so this time around.

That appears to be at the descretion of the host.
We will have to see what John B. Wells decides.
I recall Ian would lose an hour on the show when he hosted Saturday nights, but others like Barbara Simpson would even do an extra hour in the fall time change.
