Saw a Valentine's day commercial yesterday for a 4-ft tall teddy bear for your wife or girlfriend. Now I heard a radio spot for a 9-ft tall teddy bear. This is America, and you can give any size teddy bear you like, but nine feet causes me to ask who would give such a teddy bear and why. The female perspective is also welcome.

Or, I take it, why a twenty- or thirty-something year-old woman would love getting one for Valentine's Day instead of flowers or something? But someone's buying them for someone. The TV spot for the 4-ft bear is kind of cute, in a weird way. All those happy, surprised ladies hugging the 9-ft model would be a hoot, if they made that spot.
